Eh... I'll see the movie at some point, but I'm not really excited about or looking forward to it. They should have cast a guy that didn't look like a used car salesman.

Seems to me that the casting of Han Solo is the first thing you HAVE to get right. That is, if you are going to bother making a movie nobody asked for.

Looking at the comparison photos above reminded me of Peter Quill's Milano. I probably wouldn't use a black light in the Falcon either.
"SOLO" really can't take place any longer than 9 years before ANH, so that's a lot of blackening within a relatively short amount of time. Maybe there's a fire, or something.

Apparently Han and Chewie don't believe in cleaning products.

He IS planning to still do episode IX, which ends the trilogy of trilogies. That was the obvious stopping point for him.

Sad to hear Williams retiring from composing tunes for Star Wars, but his themes will always be part of future films in one form or another.

In other news, John Favreau will be making some new Star Wars stuff.

I have more faith in a Favreau produced tv show than a Rian Johnson movie trilogy.

This is the only SW movie that I've ever contemplated about NOT picking up. I saw it at Walmart this morning and said to myself, "Eh..." I'll buy it eventually to view the extras, but it's not screaming, "Buy me!" More than anything, my OCD side is telling me that there's a hole that needs to be filled in my Blu-ray collection. Thanks, Disney.

TLJ is my favorite Star Wars film in decades. I say bring on the Johnson trilogy. Based off what I've heard too, I'm glad he's sticking to his guns, and not bowing to so-called fan pressure.

The Last Jedi has become so polarizing in Star Wars fandom. Everybody either love it or hate it. Even the prequels, as maligned as they were, didn't have this effect on the fan community.
