Wait, he not only debunked the theory but he actually said there's no chance of a sequel? That seems odd. Studios don't usually let the talent make such statements and they prefer vague things like "not at this time."

No, he didn't say that. He just said that the plot details that were being talked about were false.

Doesn't make a difference, the chances of a sequel happening are as likely as me becoming a millionaire.

Im not talking about the chances of a sequel, Im talking about whether or not Guggenheim said there would be one or not. He hasn't said one way or another on it.

The movie has its problems, no doubt, but I could watch the Oan training scene and the battle with Parallax every week and not get bored.

I re-watched it a week ago. I still love it but as soon as it gets to the Hector Hammond parts i become uneasy. I'm convinced that he messed up the movie. Everything else i love.

I'm still baffled at cloud Parallax. That's my biggest problem. BY FAR.

It's like Cloud Galactus in Rise of the Silver Surfer, just the film director thinking he's smarter than the fanbase.

At least cloud (poop-tentacle) Paralax had some sort of "form" and also a face... so it wasn't quite as fail as Cloud Galactus >_< IMHO

I'll have to agree, Galactus was a much bigger fail. although both where pretty bad.

Yeah but it wasn’t all that better. Diarrhea Parallax was still pretty cringeworthy.

Hey, I used the qualifier "quite", I don't know what more you want from me

It was pretty bad, haha.

i think they should do a soft reboot but keep Ryan for Hal. Use more of the Corps....keep it more in space...obviously better writing, better director...better editing....and a better soundtrack lol

I still submit that the soundtrack was great, it was just too understated in the movie itself.

The title theme and flight theme were the only good parts of the soundtrack, and even those weren't especially unique. The rest was completely forgettable. They should've thrown some money at Danny Elfman!

I'll give Elfman credit for the original Batman movie theme, but his Spiderman themes were completely forgettable.

Forgettable the point where they were used in four films, and at least two television shows? I think not.

What's strangely hard to recall is his Edward Scissorhands score, and I just listened to that a while ago. It was strangely subdued for Elfman.
