How much did you pay on EE? $55 seems like a great deal.

I got the ARKHAM ASYLUM - Batman PLAY ARTS KAI Deluxe Collector Action Figure from Figure of the Day.com for $49.99.

First time I ordered from that website. It's nice that it's free shipping, but I had to pay California sales tax.

From tomorrow's hint, the Joker from this series is up next.

Yeah I just couldn't justify spending 50 bucks on another AA Batman figure. If you have a min or two, can you put up some pics when you get it?

Yeah I've ordered from FOTD before and I love it a lot. One of the best websites out there. It usually takes about 4 days to get to me and the boxes are always in great condition. They even put a fragile sticker on the boxes.

That Batman figure is really cool, but $50 is too much... and paying sales tax because you reside on CA. is stupid. I avoid eBay sellers that do that.

I was thinking about getting a basket but I get the feeling that it would be toys I really wouldn't be interested.

Yeah, the range was all over the place. Maybe what they should have done was had a Mattel basket, a DCD basket, a Hasbro basket, etc. and sold them for set periods of time, on a loop.

Still, I'd love to know what's in one of those things...

Probably bargain bin garbage that nobody wants, more specifically, the figures that didn't sell out. That's not something I'd take a chance on.

Ya I figured the same thing, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. My curiosity got the better of me.

Yeah, the possibility of getting something I had absolutely no interest in was too great. I passed.

See, this is why I would avoid gift baskets like the plague. Give or take, those figures are worth around $15 each which makes it a good deal, but if you collect Batman exclusively, they're worthless to you. Now, you have the arduous task of selling them on eBay or trying to trade them on a forum or at a show. Either way, it = hassle. Sorry dude.
