VIDEO: Justice League: DOOM Sneak Peek

Below is a 10 minute video giving a behind the scenes look at the creation of the upcoming DC Animated DVD movie Justice League: Doom. The video features directors Lauren Montgomery & Andrea Romano along with lead designer Phil Bourassa and of course well known producer Bruce Timm among others. I've also included some screenshots from the video for your pre-viewing pleasure. JL: Doom is set for Spring 2012.

Did anybody catch the new Young Justice episode? Hal and John both had cameos in the beginning.

Also did anyone else notice that JL:Crisis on Two Earths and JL: Doom have the same character designs as Young Justice?

Yeah I was shocked at what happened initially.

As for the designs, how could we not notice Young Justice had the same style as Crisis? That's part of the reason why I like it so much, because it looks so sharp. Like they spent some money on it.

Missed that ep but love the show.

Brent Spiner's the best Joker since Mark Hamill, IMO.

Any word if JL: Doom will have any shorts featuring other DC characters?

No, but it will most likely just be one short, featuring a DC character or two.

If they are basing this off the Legion of Doom why not use original members like Solomon Grundy, Captain Cold, The Riddler, Sinestro and Grod? The only true member they are using is Cheetah. Also, I like how they called Bane "Batman's main nemesis." No DC, you put him in the movie because he's going to be profiled in The Dark Knight Rises. They really must think we're naive.

I do love that they are the same style animation as well. Personally, I like to think of Crisis on Two Earths being an unofficial prequel to the Young Justice series.

I'm not sure I'm really looking all too forward to JL : Doom yet though, other than the awesome voice cast.

Nah. Nobody's ever going to beat Hamill's classic line from the dentist's chair, "May the floss be with you."

I'd say John DiMaggio's Joker from Batman: Under the Red Hood is the best since Hamill's. If you haven't seen it, check it out. I think he does a wonderful job.

I just want Hamill back, especially after hearing his laugh in Arkham City.

Hey guys. I know I don't reply here much (I mainly read message boards on this site weekly), but I wanted to add that I also can't wait to see GL:TAS on 11-11-11. It looks good and I'm glad it has gotten a positive review from World's Finest. As for JLoom, I like the voice cast and animation, but that preview looks like the movie is an update of The Challenge of the Superfriends rather than a adaptation of the graphic novel. I hope Hal is written better in this than how he was in JL:CO2E. This week, I might watch GL:EK and TBOGL DVDs to get me prepared for GL:TAS. The 11th looks like it will be a good day for us GL fans. Oh and don't forget to set your clocks back an hour, guys.

I don't know the background there. Maybe the audience asked them to repeat dialogue or something. It was funny, though, because usually when actors do that it's corny, but Hammil's joker laugh still worked.

Images From "Justice League: Doom" Animated Feature

Justice League: Doom doesn't see release until Spring 2012 but that isn't stopping WB Animation from promoting the hell out of it. Below are Green Lantern related images from the animated feature. You can check out a lot more later, but honestly, who likes Batman when there's Star Sapphire to look at? Enjoy the images below, and click them for a bigger view.

It's hard for me to see Star Sapphire as a baddie now that they are Protectors of Love....how they helped out in Blackest Night....and the interactions between Hal and Carol(now that she is a Sapphire). WB should keep this current.

Comics, Film and Animation are three separate divisions with 3 separate stories. Binding any of them to the other does more harm than good.

Looking forward to this, but I have to admit that seeing the images so far and noticing that the ring is on the left hand sometimes and there were green gloves in the ten minute preview kinda pisses me off that no one pays attention to continuity details.
