Like I said, something more "arabish". Yolande is an somewhat common Arab name in RL.

Sor-A-nick. That's my assumption, considering Guy Gardner can say it ZING!

There realy arent enough R's or N's in the name for it to be Sore-Ran-Nick

When I read it I see either
Sore-uh-Nick Nah-Too
Or
Sore-ah-Nick Nah-too

Sore-ah-nick nay-two

Eye-oh-lahnd

Not sure if this is the correct pronunciation of either name but that is how my mind registers them.

Geoff said in Chicago a couple of years ago it was pronounced: Sore-a-nik na-too. I have no idea how Iolande is supposed to be pronounced. I mean look at Boddika its pronounced: bo-deeka.

Booddika was named after a former Warrior queen that rebelled against the roman empire. So I guess her name could have some celtic pronunciation, while Iolande is more of either arab or gypsy name.

I actually considered Iolande to be more of a latin name. But that's just me...

I know the one you're talking about She was Celtic actually and her name was pronounced Brudikka, though I'm not sure how it; is spelled.

AS for Boddika's name I pronounce it Bod-Ick-Ka
