He might kill some random corps members and take their rings. But probably not actually joining any corps.

But Blue, purple and indigo are not going to be very useful for him. I guess he could still keep them in some trophy room or something.

Instead of making anew thread, I'm brining back this old one

Who do people think the New Corpsmen of Sector 2814 will be?

Here're my picks

Red: Black Adam (there's nobody as pissed in DCU as him right now)

Sinnestro: Joker (there's nobody in 2814 who can spread fear like he can)

Orange: Hector Hammond

Star Sapphire: Jillian Pearlmen or Ice (the Zamarons won't pass upt he chance to get a loved one of an Earth GL for their team)

Indigo: Leslie Tompkins or Starman

Blue: Jimmy Olsen

Black: J'onn Jonzz

Okay, Here's my picks:
Red: Superman-Child Prime, I doubt he's dead, and he's always angery so why not?
Orange: Hammond, he just wants too much
Yellow: Joker, Should have gotten it much earlier, should have been pick #2
Blue: Superman, no one can instill hope like him
Indigo:Barry Allen, I know it's not gonna happen, but I just like this idea
Violet:Cowgirl or Ice, I can't think of anyone better
Black: Jim Corrigan, I'm surprised no one thought of this before, I always thought if he could control the Spectre like that he must have a lot of willpower and thus could be a great Green Lantern, but imagine him as a Black Lantern?
Martin Jordan, Just so Hal Can know if his father died in fear or not.

Do they all have to be from Earth?

I'd imagine so, Earth's more diverse than the rest of its sector put together, plus it'll make the War Of Light interesting if the 2814's are all from Earth

I just thought since the sector is equal to the radius of the universe itself, there might be a few more interesting people from other planets that more than qualify.

Batman's Parents. I forgot them as black lanterns. I want to hear them tell Bruce that they are proud of him now that he's no longer Batman.

My best friend (who is an huge Sinestro fan) and I were talking about who from Earth would be selected to rep each Corps. Now I'm talking humans not aliens.

Green - Hal, John, Guy, Alan
Yellow - Joker (Like posted earlier really the only choice for the ring, well maybe if the ring finally get on Scarcrow)
Red - We really couldn't think of anyone on Earth with that much rage.
Orange - Lex Luthor ( I think he is still alive)
Violet - Cowgirl, Carol
Blue - I didn't think of this earlier but a few people pointed out Kyle
Indigo - We couldn't think of anyone for compassion
Black - well we know that every dead hero and villian will be back so the list is long.

My picks for sector 2814:

Red - Bane or Shark

Orange - Hammond or Luthor

Yellow - Scarecrow or Joker

Blue - Superman or Nightwing

Indigo - No one from Earth(except maybe Donna Troy) or J'onn J'onnz if he wasn't dead...

Violet - Cowgirl or Carol for Hal, Merayn or Fatality for John, Ice for Guy(If there can be more than 1 GL of Earth, why not have more than 1 SS for the GL's of Earth?)

Black - Every dead Superhero and Supervillain

If offered, do you think Lex Luthor would accept a ring? Be it Orange or Red? I don't think he would, or he would reverse engineer the thing and make his own Bald Lanterns.

Lex Luthor could even get away with wearing a green ring. And I'm not talking Kryptonite here.

I don't like the idea of anyone (especially on Earth) reverse engineering a ring. Power rings should be in the "so far advanced it's magic" categlory.

But he's Lex flippin Luthor! I do agree with this, considering Mr. Terrific couldn't even figure out how a 31st Century Lightning Rod worked, which is probably not even close to the rings. But if anyone could do it, it'd be the greatest criminal mind of our time

Criminal mind, not supergenius mind. Maybe Sivana, Brainiac, Ray Palmer or any other of the build a particle collider in their spare time type of people.

New Gods of Apokolips haven't figured the things out yet.

They're called the most advanced weapons in the universe for a reason

I'm really starting to wish Batman had joined the Sinestro Corps, it'd be interesting to say the least

Joker joining the Sinestro Corps sounds great, yeah, but I don't exactly see "flying around the universe" as the next chapter for the Joker's life. That would be kinda odd. Plus he's basically the opposite of Sinestro in ideaology and wouldnt answer to any Corps.

The Joker with a yellow power ring would be great. But just like with the Scarecrow, it's too good of a thing to do.

The Joker gives everything a try. I could see him wearing a ring (not necessarily a yellow one) for a couple of days before deciding that it doesn't match his bowtie or something.
