Default Need Your Opinions

Okay, so I am currently designing a college course that is "History and Comic Books" for the college I work at. Basically what I am hoping to get from you guys is what time period you would be interested in seeing a class like this focus on and why. Thank you for the help in advance.

You should focus the changing of story telling of comics from 1939 to 2010.

I should perhaps elaborate a little. The focus will be on culture feelings towards an era as depicted in the comics medium. How did people feel about World War II, for example. But if I taught media or English that would be a very good idea Iron. I will try to talk one of the English professors into it lol

Oh in that case, focus on the 50's. Simply because of the Fredrick Wortham stuff

focus on how different eras relate to the times they were published and the relation to real life stories. for example during world war two there was lost of comics set in warfare. and how the space race infoluenced characters and settings of the time. is this the kind of ideas your looking for?

Yes British this is what we are aiming at doing. The trick is that we are offering the class during the Summer 1 semester and so we only have a month for the class and need to focus. So I am currently trying to determine what era people may find most interesting to study.
