I don't care for it.

While Green Lantern is Science Fiction... a robotic suit would destract from the ring. The Ring is the power, not a robot suit.

Could be somewhat prophetical. I don't see Spandex In Space making its way to the big screen anytime soon.

But have you seen Batman's latest suit?

Aside from leaning a little too heavy into RoboCop territory, I rather think it's practical for a costumed crimefighter tackling dudes with automatic weapons in dark alleys on a regular basis.

My point is, you stick GL on screen in a green and black skin-tight spandex leotard in space, you and I may go "Yeah! They're being faithful to the comics!!" but it'll be laughed off the screen by the average moviegoer. And WB knows that.

Oh no, that the new batman suit, i wanna hate so bad but you get a point, its realistic for bats

thats why a GL movie won't work, too hard to sell to regular fans and the diehards will kill if not done right

I think the right directorial vision (Burton's 89 Batman movie or Nolan's 2005 movie... somehow each director managed to give fans films with sweeping enough stories that the rubber costumes weren't distracting) it shouldn't be a problem.

yea the 89 was my fav besides begins, but yea, as long as the stories good than it shouldnt matter unless its some off the wall suit, i think a green and black rubber suit might work...i don't know
Comicbook movies are real hard to do

I would hope a Green Lantern movie would take a page from Superman Returns or Spider-Man and make the Corp's uniform look more akin to a wet suit or Under Armour than making bulky suit.

I think under armor would work nicely.

To me, armor would be more of a parallax outfit, i think they should take a superman returns approach for the GL suit

i don't mind it as a possibility. I think they might go the "Grayson" route and cannibalize a wetsuit.
