I'm really excited for the new imprints, FINALLY some comics I can let my son read without second guessing the content. It's about time, the stuff shown so far looks great.

Not really sure how to feel about the four Justice Leagues at this point. I've read some of the trades of the Rebirth volume (refusing to purchase) and was not impressed. No lantern characters in sight (Sinestro doesn't count in my opinion) and diluting the brand probably won't get me to buy them now.
I like Snyder so I'll probably get the miniseries, but I don't see myself getting into the ongoing.
It's good that Martian Manhunter is back but the ship has sailed for me.Comment

As for me, there's no way I'll be picking up four JL titles, especially not with those rosters. I may pick up NONE of them, since, like buffalorock said, despite there now being six GLs from Earth, NONE of those four JLs have a single GL in them (unless you count Sinestro, which I also don't).

I doubt they'll do four individual JL books if the Snyder mini series doesn't blow people away and continue beyond a month or two of good numbers afterwards. It sounds like a contained story that will end with a larger Justice League in the end. I see this leading into something of a standard big 7 ish League with a few key additions returning to the fold like J'onn, Zatanna or Dr. Fate, Atom, and then possibly keep somebody like Starfire. Hawkman will need a place to hang his hat soon too unless the JSA is returning sooner than later.
Remember that story during the Morrison era League called "Justice League ?" Each member of the big 7 pretty much had their own league with Superman and J'onn being on the JL Aliens team. Batman had the JL Arkham, Aquaman had JL Atlantis, Wonder Woman had the JL Amazons, etc. It was two bookend issues to contain the story and then the series of one shots. Flash (Wally) and GL's (Kyle) Leagues were scattered throughout the other books, they had Justice League Adventurers and the Justice League Air respectively. There was some exceptionally good stuff in the JL Aliens issue. Guy/Warrior almost got into fights with both Orion and the alien Starman for trash talking.
Taking this many characters away from Teen Titans makes me wonder if that book will continue or they'll put another spin on Young justice out there for the remaining and yet to be reimagined younger heroes like Aqualad, Kid Flash, and Wondergirl...?

Well this particular story wasn't by Morrison. The book-ends were written by Tom Peyer, and one-shot chapters written by Len Kaminski, Paul Grist and Judd Winick; covers by George Perez and interiors by Ethan Van Sciver, Aluir Amancio, Javier Saltares, Coy Turnbull, Mike S. Miller and Justiniano. The story wasn't bad at all and reminds me of the new Brainiac Leagues a ton....

DC Unveils All-Star 'Black Label' Imprint
DC Entertainment’s latest comic book initiative relies on a very simple, very classic formula: Take some of the best creators at the company, pair them with some of the best characters at the company and stand back. Welcome to DC Black Label.
“Many of our perennially best-selling, critically acclaimed books were produced when we unleashed our top talent on stand-alone, often out-of-continuity projects featuring our most iconic characters, a prime example being Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns,” DC Entertainment co-publisher Jim Lee explained in a statement about the new imprint. “Creating DC Black Label doubles down on our commitment to working with all-star talent and trusting them to tell epic, moving stories that only they can tell with the highest levels of creative freedom.”
Invoking Miller was not a random choice; the iconic creator is writing his first full Superman project, Superman: Year One, for the imprint, with John Romita Jr. illustrating. Also on tap are Brian Azzarello and Lee Bermejo, reteaming for Batman: Damned — which teams the Dark Knight with John Constantine for a story that tests the former’s sanity after the Joker is found dead — and, in her first major DC work, Bitch Planet and Pretty Deadly co-creator Kelly Sue DeConnick, partnering with Phil Jimenez for Wonder Woman Historia: The Amazons, which tells the lost history of Wonder Woman’s people from their creation through the arrival of Steve Trevor on Paradise Island. Other projects in the works for DC Black Label include the already announced John Ridley project The Other History of the DC Universe, a new Batman project from the best-selling creative team of Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo called Batman: Last Knight on Earth and the return of writer Greg Rucka to Wonder Woman, with a project set 20 years in the future under the working title Wonder Woman: Diana’s Daughter.
Each of the DC Black Label titles will be released in a format and schedule dictated by its creators and take place outside of the canonical DC Universe as seen in the regular comic book series, allowing creators to take full advantage of the creative possibilities on offer.
“We are carefully crafting each series to fit the vision of the creative team,” said Mark Doyle, executive editor for the imprint. “All of these creators are masters of their craft. I’m psyched to be working on a Wonder Woman story with Kelly Sue and Phil, helping to bring John’s vision of The Other History of the DC Universe to life and reuniting with some of the greatest Batman talents in the industry.”
The line is scheduled to launch in August with the first issue of the three-part Superman: Year One. DC’s official synopses for the launch titles are below.
