Default character's that disapeared in the New 52

Hey guys so who went missing without good reason in the New 52 here are a few Green Lanterns I know of

Soranik Natue (but shes on one of the covers of GL corp)
Ion (but he was mentioned by Guy in an issue)

I am sure there are more but these are the two that bother me

Right. They're both MIA.

Jade can't exist in the current continuity. If she comes back, she needs a completely new origin.

Why not?

I mean there's the obvious from her EXISTING origin, a distinct lack of Alan Scott (gay OR straight), but with that is there something else I missed somewhere that'd keep Jade off the table without a rework?

No. I'm just saying they'd have to invent Alan for this earth or give her a new daddy.

Entities.

Most of the Corps.

Cowgirl (begs for resolution).

Alan Scott (the REAL Alan Scott). And the rest of the JSA. And all of whatever Earth they're one.

The REAL Barry Allen, Clark Kent, Diana Prince, Oliver Queen. And their significant others. Don't like what's happened to any of them.

Too many others to name.

Pandora, YOU need to disappear and let all these folks come back.

I'm afraid of what my old favorites will look like when/if they make Nu52 debuts. The Spectre finally showed up...and now I wish he didn't. Keep Wally tucked away until this passes please. BTW, did any of you SEE what they did to Robotman from the DOOM Patrol?

Well, if we're being fair, Cowgirl disappeared long before the New 52. Hal's entire Earthbound supporting cast disappeared save for Carol.

Hammond hasn't been seen again since being posessed by Ophidian.

Natu's disappearance sticks out quite a bit since she featured so prominantly in GLC for a time. Ditto Arisia, Hannu, and Sodom Yat.

That 3 eyed dude who mind controlled people in Emerald Warriors hasn't been seen again either. That wouldn't bug me, except he has Sodom with him.

The Entities have all scurried away.

Mongul (although he may have been in that larger casket under the Yellow CPB when Sinestro was taking his corps to OA).

The Anti-Monitor. He was resurrected at the end of Blackest Night in what has to be the worst dangling plotthread in DCU history. I mean, given the character and all.

Jade and Donna Troy. Important to Kyle's now nonexistant past.

Alan, obviously. And the Starheart. Technically, they could still keep the Starheart, but I doubt they will without Alan.

I notice that nobody remembers that Larfleeze killed / recruited the Controllers and Gretti when they draw his Corps. If that counts as "disappearing".

That's about it. Some may not have disappeared from continuity, but they certainly have from the spotlight.

I think the thing that really messes the New 52 the most is that certain things are still changing on the fly when all of this could have been fleshed out before these messes could have even had a chance of happening

I don't think anyone anywhere will argue with you.

I'm be shocked if they actually discussed the actual origins of the human GLs before just diving into the new 52. Shocked.

Wally West is gone, I think out of everyone that is the most significant disappearance in DC right now. He was flash for 25 years for Pete's Sake.

STEL was apparently fired from his job as a trainer of new recruits and was never seen again.

Typical corporate Oans: A promotion and a pat on the back ONE month, and then the ol' boot the NEXT. Poor Stel! Did they even give him time to clean out his cubicle?

Doubtful. They probably did him like Guy and said, "Thank you for your service" and beamed him to his homeworld before he could get a word in. The least they could have done was wish him well on his future endeavors, like WWE.

Sorry, all due respect to Donna and Garth, but Wally's absence IS more significant, simply because he was THE Flash for so long. Donna and Garth were certianly not obscure by ANY stretch of the imagination, but to argue that Wally wasn't more significant than them in the grand scheme of things seems difficult to support. If he had said Wally was the ONLY significant disappearance, I'd agree with you, but since he said MOST significant, I have to agree with him.

Yo.

Wally stopped being "THE Flash" the minute Jay came back during that Armageddon 2001 -spinoff series (which was only 5 or 6yrs after CoIE), so *PHOOEY!!* on that whole "significance" rigamarole.

and anyways, Donna had better legs & could fly.

Yeah, there really isn't anybody more significant than Wally West MIA in the nU 52. And thank God for that.

Yeah, I have to agree that Wally's disappearance is the most signifigant absense.
