True. Hal's done it, Kyle's done it, John's done it. I don't specifically recall Guy doing it, but I'm sure he could.

Hal's definitely gone to Qward. Like Evergreen, I immediately made the connection to Rebirth. It must've been a pain in the ass for the Sinestro Corps to move their CPB out of the antimatter universe, though.

The "third army" is a nice touch, but it won't supplant the GL Corps. It's likely just a tease for next year's "Corps War."

Polls are added on the day of release, because in the past when we've added them prior to the release, people would vote without even reading the comic (which was stupid).

Of course, I'll bet even NOW some people are voting before reading the comic, but what can you do?

Just finished the issue. Wasn't thinking that the cpb would act as a transporter until u guys pointed it out. I'm curious to know now where this is going. Overall great issue. I still hate what te guardians have done and they need to be dealt with. Poor ganthet :/. Now they are gonna make a 3 rd army? C'mon

just read it. The first thing I thought of when I read the cliffhanger was that Hal will be transferred to Qward in the very next issue. They already set this up with Rebirth.

I liked the issue very much though. It's nice to see Hal actually show up prominently in his own comic. Great art, nice story without too many Geoffcons.

I'm surprised after all these years nobody has ever thought to do this story. Considering the Guardians' motivations and MO, it makes perfect sense that they would eventually replace the GLC. I'm very interested in this one.

I thought this was a good issue.

I'm finding that if I pretend Boringest Night didn't happen, this new series is enjoyable so far.

Of course, the minute anything other than Green or Yellow shows up, I'm out.

Enjoyable issue. GL has been a lot better since the relaunch (or at least better than the stuff I read before dropping it), I just wish Johns would take this type of quality over to Justice League. /grumble.

I always said I wouldn't pay for another issue of GL.

But yeah, I liked the first three issues. Hope it stays like this.

THAT book is awful. I won't be bothering with the JLA for quite a while I think.

I'm riding it out until the jump to present day. If the things I don't like about it are still present then, and not just an artifact of the awkward reimagining of early careers mandated by the DCnU, I'll most likely drop it.

I agree, that one is terrible.

A few more issues like this one and I may add it to my small pull list.

I fully agree with the theory of Hal being transported to Qward, although I dont think Sinestro knows thats what happening. I could see the Sinners tampering with the battery to override that failsafe Sinestro implemented and instead just transports any GL off.

But, and I suppose it could just be an artistic mistake, every time someone has transported off to the Antimatter universe before that we've seen in GL comics, they usually are being pulled away into a single point. Here, Hal just looks like he is well being killed. Artistic mistake or maybe Johns intentionally wanted it drawn that way to produce suspense.. Whatever it is, its doing its job well and making me want issue 4

Ohh, and am I the only one who felt it was uncharacteristic of Hal to just blast that Sinner's head off? I read that an instantly said "WHAT!?" That just felt like something Guy might do, but Hal never would.

I liked the issue. Sinestro's cockiness and laugh were appropriate.

I didn't think of the transport thing, but it makes sense. I actually thought it might be doing exactly what Sinestro said and it's just painful, but transport makes more sense.

So this issue ends up being even more of a cliffhanger and now we have to wait a whole month!

I very much thought that. That seemed extreme.

They have, to a degree. When Kyle became Ion again during IC, the Guardians called him "the next stage of evolution for the GLs" and again with the Alpha Lanterns, which were sort of like a 3rd faction.

#2 was alright by me, I'll stick with it for the time being. It's been worse...sad to say, even though that's hardly a reason to buy something.

I haven't been this excited for GL since the SCW.

I believe every time since Rebirth, those going to the AMU disintegrated into a skeleton which then vanished, no?

And yeah, Hal blowing the guys head off straight away did seem sort of rash, however, maybe he's actually taking Sinestros advice seriously? That's how I read it.

I still laughed on the inside when Sinestro mentioned the Sinestro Corps not following his rules. I'm also still enjoying this arc so far though which is the major point. I would even moreso enjoy if Hal ends up asking the Qwardians for help fighting against the Sinestro Corps. It would be like a hate triangle where everyone hates everyone.

Yeah, but that stuff doesn't REALLY count. That's like saying the government replaced the police force when they created Internal Affairs. And Ion was just some bullshit experiment that everyone knew wasn't going to include any more than one guy.

The Guardians have flaked out, gone awol, quit and all that, but they haven't yet done a story where they put the GLC in the mothballs to replace them with something else. That's why I'm actually interested in this subplot. There's a lot of potential for it to be interesting and not something they've done 6 times since I was a kid!
