So this is a future story that involves someone from the future traveling back in time to still some point in the future? Yea, 0% chance this ends up in continuity.

Also the fact that they're calling Terry "Batman Beyond" annoys me for some reason.

      What? For REAL?!?

This will be in canon about as much as Armageddon 2001 is.

I bet you that they actually use the phrase "back to the future" at some point in the comic.

What the fuck is up with both Marvel and DC ripping off Back to the Future II? First, Marvel did it with Battle of the Atom and now DC is doing it with this. Back to the Future II was a perfectly fine story, just leave it alone. LEAVE IT ALONE.

Impossible, its drawn by Ryan Sook.

Those solicits definitely stopped me from preordering. Wake me when Donna Troy shows up or when anyone of interest plans a prominent role.

Here we go! Retconning the New 52! Time travel was supposed to have been made near impossible by Flashpoint, and now we're opening the can of worms again! Stand by for MASSIVE continuity shift!

Time travel was suppose to be impossible?

Yup. Barry broke it. One of my heartburns re: the "Wrath of the First Lantern" arc was around that point.

DC's September 2014 Event Revealed, 3D COVERS Return
DC Co-Publisher Dan DiDio made official today the expected announcement of another DC September event for 2014, revealing that all DC ongoing series that month will flash forward five years to depict what might happen in the future.

The event ties into the May-launching weekly series The New 52: Futures End , and DiDio said DC will launch some new ongoing titles in June and/or July that will also be included in the September event.

Per Didio the weekly will open with Terry traveling from 35 years in the future back to 5 years in the future. There's your timeline.
