I'm familiar with that scene in Mosaic. And it certainly is an example of John proving a point to Hal, but it far from settles the argument. John had a lot more at stake in that confrontation and it was a mental landscape. John's will won out because he wanted it more in that situation. It doesn't change my mind that I think Hal would win more times than not in hand-to-hand combat.
