Basically. Unfortunately half the members on this green latern forum voice their opinions far too negatively, and on a series they supposedly love. It gets really old. Blackest Night wasnt bad at all, and there are far worse series the haters could be bitching about. Flame on.

That's why I don't got the whole story at all. I've read the GL BN Paperback (read it) and I have the regular Blackest Night PB Volume at home, but haven't read it until now. Now I know why some storyparts seemed so uncorrelated.... >____>

But overall I liked the whole the dead are rising story, it was ok.

Many thanks. More useful than you will ever know.

Not sure how anyone else stores their comics, BUT...all of mine are in mylar bags with backer boards; some still have the store price tags on the outsides of the bags and (I can't believe I'm saying this) I am putting little dot tags on the bags too, in the upper left corner, right over the DC logo. I use an abbreviation for story arc and the number the book appears in the sequence. I can pull all of the books of an arc and read them in order, then refile by title when done. Anybody else do this?

Also finally had to graduate my inventory to an Excel spreadsheet, on which I show both title/number and the story arc/reading order. Egad! I thought this was supposed to be fun!!!

I don't categorize by arc (not sure if I could figure that out, but it makes sense), but I do everything else you do.

I actually do store/categorize by story arc, but I don't create a spreadsheet. I notice I rarely go back and read comic more than once or twice nowadays.

I got mine packed in mylar-like bags with backer boards for the regular comic books, but since I'm reading us-comics not that long, I've got a lot of that paper backs and hardcovers from DC which collect the issues in a specific order. But I think I wouldn't catalogue the stories or reading orders. But maybe I'll start this, when I've got a lot more books, don't know
