The point of this Forum Section

Some members are a little iffy on what should go in the Games & Humor forum section so.

Trivial games like "the person above you game" should be placed in this forum.

Humor of all kinds also belongs here, like the "Superman has a problem with kinky sex" thread.

What does not belong here would be things like video games, board games. Or humor coming directly out of comic books or discussion of books.

Boardgames and the like would go in the Action Figure and Toys section as could video games, though those could also be posted in the General Forum Section.

also any posts in this Forum Section do not count towards your post count.

Hope that helps!

I used to think "I wish that I could feel like a cool kid" was "I wish that I could feel like a pool cue."

Bon Jovi's Bad Medicine, the chorus sounds like, "Your love is like bad venison!"

In Want Ads, I thought "Experience in love preferred but will accept a young trainee" was "...but will accept a young Chinese."

Mr. Mister had a song called "Kyrie", which incorporated a Greek phrase often said in prayer that meant "Lord, have mercy".

"Kýrie, eléison, down the road that I must travel
Kýrie, eléison, through the darkness of the night"

However, as a kid, I heard:

Carry a laser down the road that I must travel.
Carry a laser through the darkness of the night.

I thought "Heard It In A Love Song" was "Purty Little Love Song." Great song BTW.

Bobby Brown's "Every Little Step" contains the chorus:

"No matter what your friends try to tell ya
We were made to fall in love.."

But it sounds like, "No matter whatcha French fries tell ya,
We were made to fall in love..."

This isn't a lyric but it was misheard.

In one of my sister's high school classes the students were assigned to write a paper about euthanasia. One boy misunderstood and wrote a paper about young people in Asia.

Heck, that wasn't even misheard so much as misunderstood. I figure he heard it exactly like it sounds. If I was the teacher, I think I'd give him full credit...once I stopped laughing, anyway...provided he wrote a decent paper about Youth in Asia.

And not the band Youth In Asia?
That seems like a missed opportunity!

As for misheard lyrics, this one's my favorite:

I thought "Ain't nothing gonna break my stride" was "Ain't nothing gonna break my spine."

I really like Roth, but sometimes I can't understand what he's saying in between Indian yelps and banshee screams.

At one point in Runnin' With The Devil, he sings "I'm livin at a pace that kills"
I always thought it was "I'm livin and I respect you"
