Ummmm the FCBD issue is a reprint of an Old 52 Action Comics issue. The Kents are dead in the New 52. This book had no bearing on that.

          • Comic Book Legend Grant Morrison Talks New Wonder Woman, ‘Multiversity’ & ‘Man of Steel’

Since he knows the man better than most, we also wanted to get Morrison's take on the upcoming Superman movie "Man of Steel."I've spoken to [screenwriter] David Goyer, not about the 'Man of Steel,' but I know he's used a couple of my lines from some of my Superman stuff in it. And that's the only involvement I've had. But that's good enough for me," said Morrison. "I'm really looking forward to it. There's a very good chance this is going to be the Superman movie that changes the movie perception of Superman."

As far as the writer's solution to what a Superman story should be. Of course that's been done. Moore did it a little. Morrison did it. Arguably, that was what "Grounded" was all about and Superman fans almost universally hated it.

The problem with Grounded was that it never went anywhere. I liked the first issues of it, especially when Superman just stayed with the girl that tried to commit suicide and telling her, he wouldn't intervene if she really wants to jump.

But it was just that. Supes went somewhere, found someone, did some good, rinse and repeat. I never finished the storyline.

And for the record, I don't like All-Star Superman. He's still an arrogant jerk in it.

I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

You think he's arrogant there, you should read the last Swamp Thing. What a preachy prick (and Supes is my second favorite character).
