Loved AC #0 art was good and the story was just great. The backup was ok i guess, but it was the main story that was flawless.

I'm kinda bummed one of my favorite cosmic DC characters has been made into an enemy of Superman's in the New52, talking about Capt. Comet BTW. Maybe N.O.W.H.E.R.E. could clone him and make a younger Comet with the possibility of him becoming a hero ala Superboy...

The really great thing about Action #0 is it's one of the many rare times since the new 52 started that Kal is actually being heroic and actually smiling and not scowling all the damn time.

I was truly disappointed in Superboy #0. Thought it was just flat-out bad, and Superboy's new origin is just not doing it for me it's so complicated and twisted. They should have just kept it simple with cadmus.
This Harvest character is just someone that I will never be interested in, his design is so goddamn bad that I can't even take him serious.
This whole issue was such a letdown...... 1/5 for me.

I agree, I've been so disappointed with the direction of the character since the new 52. For one, Harvest isnt interesting at all. Lobdell stated he wants him to be a threat to the entire DC universe, I just dont see how that can happen right now. As for Superboy, I wish they would go ahead and reveal more details about this third donor. I'm starting to lose my patience.

With the decisions DC has been making as of late I wouldn't even be surprised if they dropped the whole thing by now.

Another reason that this is good for the franchise is that it means that if those stories of editorial interference were true, Snyder's presence should give us a Supes book that is free from it. Snyder is pretty much DC's golden boy at this point (even more so with the exodus of people like Morrison, etc.) and if he has a story to tell they're gunna let him tell it.
As for Lee's involvement in the book...man has any other new writer had this kind of luck? Albuquerque, Jock, Francavilla, Murphy, Ngyuen, Capullo, and now Lee...those are all GREAT artists...just hope we aren't hit with any delays.
With Bleeding Cool reporting that Diggle wouldn't comment on the rumors of him joining Action Comics I think it's a pretty safe bet that he will be taking over that book, now I just hope they give him a decent artist (honestly wouldn't mind seeing Daniel ending up there)...my feelings are somewhere between mild hope and mild trepidation. The one thing I want to see out of the Superman books going forward is a tighter sense of unity between them, given Snyder's success over on the batfranchise, that might be why DC is bringing him over to the Man of Steel.
Finally anyone who's still reading Supergirl, how's that going? I dropped it because of the pacing...has it picked up at all?

Supergirl is still the best Super book right now IMO with Action in second. And the pace picked up quite alot with the last issue, #12. The zero issue was also very good revealed lots of information about her background, Zor-El, Reign and the WK's. Also hints at alot things to come in the upcoming H'el arc, TIME TRAVEL.Last edited by Sodam Yat; 09-23-2012, 07:13 PM.

So Morrison will be sticking around on Action Comics for one extra issue...still sad to see him go.

AC #13 gets a 5/5. I loved this whole issue the main story was great and the back-up was just as good. So happy to see Krypto in the New52.
