A fan of Highlander are you

Well then you know

THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!

and I already called it :p .... yes the rules of internet pretend highlander are the same as Shotgun

KilowogCK 06-28-2007 03:31 AM

See Parrylakks I told you that it is just most of the people in Utah that have not see Highlander.

Parrylakks 06-28-2007 03:58 AM

Thats messed up...

But, GLJIMT, the whole "only one" thing is kinda misleading...
... or, haven't you seen Highlander 5?

Seriously though, Highlander fans are abound in this place, I guess.
I count 4, at least. Not alot, but enough.

GLJIMT 06-28-2007 11:33 AM

Which one is 5 Endgame ?? I seen up to Endgame but have not seen it in a long time

KilowogCK 06-28-2007 03:43 PM

Endgame is 4. 5 is called the Source. It is not one of the best.

Parrylakks 06-28-2007 07:38 PM

Yeah, Highlander 5 doesn't really come out until September, but you can get your hands on a Russian copy pretty easily, since it already came out there, if you really want to see it. Its okay, but its really kinda weird. I would wait for the official September US release, since it allegedly will have more scenes and better special effects, unless, of course, you really want to see it.

The Highlander anime, Highlander: The Search for Vengeance, would probably be more worth your time, and you can just go to your local DVD store to pick that one up. Came out a couple weeks ago and still only costs around $15. Its amazingly good. A lot better than Highlander 5, itself, and a lot funner, especially if you like anime.

Anyway, blah. Back to Green!

GLJIMT 06-29-2007 12:02 AM

Why would they make Highlander 5 Highlander 4 is called

ENDGAME

I thought that was pretty clear

anyway ....... More comie movie goodness brothers

Well, it wasn't literally the end of the Game -- there's still other Immortals alive at the end of Endgame. Which is why I hate that title and how misleading it is.

Hey sorry to break it to ya KilowagCK but my dvd collection pretty much matches Parrylakks', other that I just bought Batman Begins and Superman Returns in HD (Superman was free from a buy one get one free HD promo, by the way. Whoever would pay for the normal and HD version of that damn movie is crazier that me!). And, I know two of my buds here in Utah have the same Highlander collection as well.

It's probably a geek thing...

Or it was the Queen soundtrack in the first one that started it all. It's hard to say.

Haven't seen it yet - BTW where you been lately Nived?

Nived 10-23-2007 03:19 AM

Dragging this completely off topic in October I travel on the weekends a couple towns over to perform at a large haunted house mostly because it amuses me. So I'm away from my computer for days at a time. That and no GL comics came out last week.

Well good to have you back , and yes very sad week ! enjoy scaring little kids do you

any way whats your collection ?

Nived 10-23-2007 05:24 AM

Nah we get more teenagers and drunks than 'kids', but I do enjoy my work.

Anyway I have most of the DCAU box sets.

Batman the Animated Series
Batman and Robin
Superman the Animated Series
Batman Beyond
Justice League
JLU

Beyond that my collection is kinda lacking
Sin City
300
Batman
Batman Returns
Superman
Blade
Blade II
Blade Trinity

Does Harvy Birdman: Attorney at Law count? They have Superfriends on it.

Do they really have Superfriends on Harvey Birdman?

but then we would have to count Family Guy and Southpark for Wonder Woman and Flash

Nived 10-23-2007 05:28 AM

Oh you haven't seen? The first episode has Apache Chief get hot coffee spilled on his lap... it cost him his superpowers! He could no longer... enlarge.

Black Vulcan is a regular character, voiced by Phil Lhamar in the same voice he does John Stewart. "I have the power of pure electricity... in my pants."
