I'm wondering how the Lakers lost an 8 point lead in the 4th to lose to the Jazz. Aside from PG, the Lakers are more talented from top to bottom. Phil Jackson needs to learn to use his time-outs. This isn't the Bulls team from the 90's and Kobe is no Michael Jordan. Jordan wouldn't go 5-23 and let his team lose to an inferior squad.

Kobe went 5-23 and they only lost by 2. Give Phil some credit, he kept them in it. Not only that, but they should be happy. Its a bitch playing in SLC and their best player had a bad night, so obviously next game will be a lot easier for them to win if Kobe hits two more baskets than he did yesterday. Oh, and (future Piston) Carlos Boozer had an unbelievable game and they still only won by 2. Lakers fans should be happy they didn't get stomped.

It is tough playing in SLC, but the Lakers are a superior team and they blew an 8 point lead. All season long, the Lakers have gotten large leads on teams, became complacent and allowed teams back in the game. With Kobe and Phil, they should be able to overcome almost anything. I will say the refs made some questionable calls against Andrew Bynum thus taking him out of the game.

Watching the Mavs at the end of the season, I kind of expected them to make some sort of decent run in the playoffs. They just seemed at the end to be a team that could come back from a deficit and win the game. There's been several 11 point or more comebacks that have been impressive. I don't think people should expect that Cavs/Lakers matchup just yet.

Yeah, that's ridiculous. I blame Stan Van Gundy. I like the guy, but he's obviously the "Master of Panic" that Shaq said he was.

i also blame lewis and turkoglu neither one has really played at the level they once did, the only peopl i see trying to bad are dwight, courtney lee and sometimes alston. they other two just seem to not want to be there. I'll be atthe game tomorrow so hopefully it goes well.
