Too much Mewzard? I was barely in it because I decided to be polite, and try not to interrupt...and Andrew and Eric's ranting on GLC made Frankie wrap it up before I could...I wanted to be cautiously optimistic. : /

Oh, and I kinda forgot GL, due to being a lot of posturing and Barrycising-I mean Barrylaxing (that, and I was exhausted, I think...I can't remember).

I don't hate Hal Jordan. Quite the opposite, I like the character. My only real problems were the speed of the issue, and that Barry was the one taken. It's really out of his element. Would have been more fitting for it to have been Batman, briefly (since we all know this won't last).

I'm not the greatest Mewzard fan but I found him to be mostly harmless here.

I found myself really agreeing with Eric and Andrew in this podcast. What Mr. Bedard did in the latest issue of GLC is nothing short of a travesty, and in no small part for the reasons you guys mention. In fact I think you all went pretty easy on the book.

In the future would you guys and gals consider adding a couple of Hal fan's to your casts? Honestly, I'm becoming more and more disillutioned by Johns writting of Hal, but with so many die-hard Kyle fans on the cast, I think your conclusions on the comic are more about your bias and less about comic content.

Johns has imo really turned Hal into a one dimensional character something he wasn't before. However, since most on this show seem to hate Hal, your dismissing much of Hal's great past. Especially the way he used to think his way through problems and think outside the box. I personally feel you sell Hal's character short before you even read the comic or watching movie trailers.

For the most part I enjoy the show, but couldn't you guys atleast consider bringing on someone like a Dr. Naysay, or Spy Smasher to bring a perspecitive by a Hal fan.

Dr. Naysay was on the cast once. Though, that was more for laughs' sake than anything else. I like Hal, I do, however, lack greater exposure to some of his earlier works. I've read several of his earliest volume 2 work, but I missed the later volume 2 and 3 issues. Guess I should track them down for more perspective.
