The movies they did in the '90's with him were very well done, very good special effects.

Actually Gamera is my favorite, Gamera 3 Revenge of Iris as far as the modern ones, Destroy All Monsters as far as the classics.

    RE: picture comment

It's suppose to be me as a child dressed up like Dr. Fate and frightening the other children...montage I threw together inspired by something from Bruce Castle.

Hey man, any chance you'd wanna RP with a fresh GLC in the LoSH future? Thinking about rebooting the game and getting away from the rainbow Corps'....

I would say the hair and the acrobatic swashbuckling stuff.

I hadn't heard that Newman was the 'model'. I always thought of Tyrone Powers, who was in quite a few swashbucklers, and was an actual pilot during WW II. (Of course, with a little Chuck Yaeger thrown in. lol

This came about because of a discussion on one of the threads about who might have been the 'model' that Kane had in mind for Sinestro...some thought Max Shreck as Nosferatu, I always thought of Rathbone, who, when he wasn't being Sherlock Holmes, played the schmarmy villain in so many swashbucklers from the 30s and 40s...Then just a matter of finding a good publicity still then spend some time colorizing in photoshop and compositing the background and the Sinestro symbol...taadaa...sorry...way too much
