Move on. It'll make you feel better that at least something is getting done rather than you being stuck in one spot forever.

I had to do the harpoon kill twice because I didn't distract her with the model factory first and tried to time the shot, and of course missed it. Second time was pure gold. The poison was hilarious, because I thought she would start seizing up right there, but she goes for a balcony dance and takes a header.

I tried to do the Ronin challenges, killing dudes with the katana while wearing the samurai outfit, but got caught. Will have to do it again, because it's actually fairly easy, just time consuming because you have to never be spotted or you have to restart.

Just killed Layla every which way possible (took forever to redo the exploding fireplace, because the gas can kept bouncing off the frame). Also cleaned up a few more challenges here and there.

I really need to stop playing, though. This game devours my time to do other things, and that's going to bite me in the ass bad.

I'll have to try that for Sword Play.

As for Rosewood, it's just stealth kills, not throwing. You can walk up to them and attack-kill them with the syringe equipped and it counts.

You don't need to pick up items for mastery of challenges, thank god. I tried to do Sword Play for Hunter & Hunted last night.

Oh god, level three of that challenge: get the katana, get the chipmunk costume, stealth kill all three dudes using katana while disguised as chipmunk. All in one go, no resets to a checkpoint. I pulled off the third kill at the gas pump (had to throw it at him, barely locked target because he kept moving), but it didn't count as the third kill, I guess because I had reset to the checkpoint because I kept getting spotted.

Goddamn it. I'll give it a go again later, when I've knocked out more challenges.

Managed to Suit Only the Shaving Lenny mission. It wasn't as hard as I thought, but killing the last dude was tough (subdued Lenny, dropped him at the front door, then had to stealth KO a bunch of hunting guards and death-throw a screwdriver at the last guy before hauling ass to Lenny and victory). Also mastered Welcome to Hope.

I don't think I'll ever get 100%, because some of the challenges (like getting X headshots manually in X seconds) are so obscenely tricky for me that I know I won't pull them off, so I won't bother.

But now I need to redo a couple details in some levels, complete the challenges I know I can do and gradually complete the harder ones later on.

You think you're bad, my own father asked me when my birthday was.

    But thank you very much.

Ok. I thought that might be the case. Yeah, please do track down CLM, and do yourself a favor a buy it. It was actually made by the very same people who did NSA, and in response to 'His Name was Jason' being disappointing to fans. I liked HNWJ as well, but it really does pale in comparison to CLM.

The presentation is similar as well. Spending a good 45 minutes on each sequel in order. They even spend a good 15-25 minutes focusing on the television show, even though it's not really Jason-related. Like NSA, they even go over FvsJ, so all-in-all, there's 12 movies with the reboot that's covered. I couldn't get thru it in one sitting. It's just too much! But I enjoyed spacing it out.

With Godzilla, from what I hear, what we got was a leaked teaser that we wasn't supposed to see. What is coming Nov 3rd is apparently going to be different, and something more up-to-date than the teaser that we saw and which came out in 2012. Atleast that's what I'm hearing ....

SC, you're not confusing CLM with 'His Name was Jason' are you? Now that one was incredibly lackluster in comparison with NSA. It's the one that came out in 2009 to coincide with the release of the remake/reboot.

CLM was just released in September. I thought it was much more of a companion piece to NSA than HNWJ ever could hope to be....

When ads come up on Hulu I like to click that they are not relevant to me. I keep hoping if I do this for every ad they'll stop showing me any.

Seriously, though, what happened? You used to be able to pick a single one-minute ad for a whole show. Now, they seem to have as many ads as TV.

Since I now have posted on several threads about my Neo-Victorian aesthetic (including pictures, like my profile), I thought I'd blog (my first) on the topic for future reference and to avoid an overly long post.

Here's how I got to Neo-Victorianism:

My first step was a hat. Until I got to grad school (seminary) I wore an assortment of baseball caps like everyone else. While at school I noticed the occasional guy with an actual man's hat and decided that was for me.
