Yeah, I know. The upside is I should be getting it back sometime this week. ...I hope.

Still in the shop. It seems my laptop suddenly developed the problem of spontaneously shutting off... while being fixed.

If it's on hiatus it doesn't count.

    My list would be:

    1) BPRD
    2) Chew
    3) Locke & Key
    4) The Sixth Gun
    5) The Strange Talent of Luthor Strode

Rachel Rising almost took the 5th spot.

Fine not ongoing but I kinda meant currently ongoing. Didn't Witch Doctor wrap up last year?

Not really. WatXM has some great concepts/ideas but I don't really get the feeling that the book is going anywhere. Plus I really hate the new Hellfire Club, it's like an influx of pseudo-Mary Sues. Honestly I'd probably enjoyed the book more, if they emphasized the school aspect more and left behind the whole villain concept. I mean this iteration of the school unlike previous versions is suppose to allow the kids to be kids without worrying about becoming X-Men, so show me exactly how special/unique the school is. forget everything else and show me what it's like to have Logan and Beast and Rachel and Kitty as teachers and I'd be all over the book.

Scarlet Spider on the other hand is, I'll admit, a very standard superhero story so far with your typical anti-hero flair. But it's well written and focused so I'm enjoying it more. Plus he's based in H-Town.

Scarlet Spider > Wolverine and the X-Men.

I feel like WatXM has been a bit too unfocused for me to really get into it, but yea it is a lot better than UXM, which is kinda disappointing since I thought Gillen's first couple of issues were outstanding. UXF is still the best X-book though, even with the art issues.

I'll admit the latest issues have been a bit lackluster, if his run wasn't ending with #304 I'd probably drop it, but since it's almost over I figured I'd just stick it out. I'm probably gunna drop WatX after this arc if it doesn't pick up.
