It's time for another "Top 10" list. This list isn't just for DC Comics but for all comics.
Ralph Dibny & Sue Dibny (Elongated Man & Wife) (DC)
The stars of the first big DCU book I ever read, Identity Crisis. These two stood out to me the most in that book and I feel in love with the two of them. I grouped them together because even though their good on their own, their even better together. I came into their comic career at a bad time since she died then and he died in 52, but I still love them.
Marv (Sin City) (Dark Horse)
If I ever saw myself as a comic book character it would be Marv. We are both big guys (I'm 6'3'' and 230 Pounds) that don't get looks from the ladies but we're loyal until the end and we both stand for our beliefs. Mickey Rourke did an amazing job playing him in the Sin City movie.
Bruce Wayne (Batman) (DC)
The character that started my entire comic obsession. There will be no other Batman in my eyes even though I love Dick Grayson and all the Robins. I normally don't follow Batman monthly but I collect it all in Trade. I always liked reading Batman in a big collection instead of floppies.
Bart Allen (Kid Flash) (DC)
This character has grabbed my attention lately but always was someone I liked. I first saw him in Infinite Crisis but didn't really enjoy the direction they took him in after that. I'm glad he is back as Kid Flash and I'm looking forward to his new series even more than the new Flash series.
Morpheus (Dream of the Endless) (Vertigo)
A classic comic book character if not the most classic and legendary. Everything he says makes me think and everything he does makes me question how he could manage such a large role. The Sandman series is amazing and if you haven't read it your missing out on something amazing.
Johns Constantine (Hellblazer) (Vertigo)
That cocky bastard! Constantine is just one of those characters you can't help but love. I really can't say much more than that.
Bigby Wolf & Snow White (Fables) (Vertigo)
Like Ralph and Sue, these two work best when their together. A giant wolf, his hot wife and their huge group of hybrid werewolf children that can fly. You fucking with me?!?! Awesome!
Joker (Batman Villain) (DC)
Check out "The Joker" blog for this.
Sinestro (Green Lantern Villain) (DC)
An amazing villain and character, Sinestro manages to steal the scene even if he doesn't speak when it comes to my mind. The ultimate villain for Hal Jordan and the DCU, Sinestro works on so many levels since his "revision" in the past couple years.
Hal Jordan (Green Lantern) (DC)
The third superhero I got into but I gotta admit that I have begun a slow decent into not caring about the character. He his still cool and all that but he hasn't done anything in the past two years that help build his character. We haven't seen any of his stuff with his "girlfriend" Cowgirl or any of his family. All he's done is fight his now turned teammates and he has lost a lot of his appeal in my eyes since he has basically become a set piece in Blackest Night.
BONUS ELEVENTH CHARACTER!!!
J'onn J'onzz (Martian Manhunter)
I couldn't believe I forgot to put up everyone's favorite Martian up on this list but he deserves to be on here more than nearly anyone else. One of the DCU biggest players in the powers category and one of it's favorite supporting characters. While he should be able to support his own series, it never seems to work. I think he suffers from being too powerful.
