  • Cool. I'll try and pick up the first one for like $5 at GameStop or on eBay.

I suppose I should get around to finishing GTA V. I'm probably the only one, but I got tired of the long driving missions, and having to be at a certain spot at a specific time to engage in a mission. Then, if you fail that mission, you had to do that long ass drive again. Kinda turned me off.

        • Yeah Im gonna give it a shot at some point again. Part of the many games I still need to finish. I think the problem is I do get caught up in all the side quests. I blame Final Fantasy for that lol.

In case you were wondering here are the games I still need to finish:

Dante's Inferno (fuck you Malboge Level 10)
          Lollipop Chainsaw
Amazing Spider-man 2 (Pretty much on the last chapter though)
          Batman: Arkham City
          South Park: Stick of Truth
          Mass Effect
          Dead Space

          To name a few
I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

It is really worth playing. You must play it. It is one of the BEST SERIES EVER!!!!

Despite what people say, I loved the ending to ME3. I think it was brilliant. And there are moments that made me cry, I will admit. Especially Legion and Thane.

              • You know what's keeping me back from Dead Space? THAT STUPID FUCKING ASTEROID FIELD BULLSHIT!! It'd be way less annoying if I didn't have the guy constantly saying just a few more minutes every 5 fucking seconds.

                • You could probably skip Dead Space 1, A-train. Not that much happens, anyway. I started with 2 and went backwards. Glad I did.

I need to play Lollipop Chainsaw as well. South Park: Stick of Truth was such a great experience, it hit every South Park funny bone.

Lollipo is a lot of fun. And I agree about South Park. I'm having fun playing that one.

On another note, my roommate got a PS4 so he sold me his PS3. It's been so long since I've had a Playstation system.

To be fair, for a while I got by on the Mass Effect: Genesis. It's a backstory comic originally released for those on PlayStation who didn't have immediate access to the first Mass Effect game. It helps bridge the gap between the first and second games, giving you a synopsis of the first game as well as allowing you to make several key choices you otherwise wouldn't be able to make without having played the first game (Trust me, the default gameplay choices without having played the first game set you up for failure).

That's another thing Mass Effect relies heavily upon: choice and consequence. Nearly every decision you make as the protagonist throughout the first couple of titles comes back around in some way or another, the fallout totally dependent on how you handled the situation back then. It's one of the reasons I love the game so much, that you get to see how your decisions shape the game.

dude, look at it this way: how many scifi stories do U know of which has been released in game form??

I cosign everything said about ME, because while I could see not calling the gameplay "groundbreaking", I would say its story certainly is when U look its narrative as a whole.

.........that, and U get to turn a caucasian into a nubian (somewat) in the 2nd game, so that kinda helps.

                            • My list is probably (at least) 4 times what A-Train posted; I just haven't the time or energy to play like I used to (plus, RPGs are time-sinks, man).

Doesn't help that I now have emulator power on my phone (Pokemon Red, Blue, and soon Crystal will kill my free time).

                              • Mass Effect 1 is clunky, but the world is interesting to push through it. Once you play 2 and 3, you'll be glad you played 1. I know I did.
