Any fans of old Lucasarts games, GoG.com just announced a deal with Disney that will result in them releasing a ton of old Lucasarts games.

The initial group consists of:

Star Wars™: X-Wing Special Edition
Star Wars™: TIE Fighter Special Edition
Sam & Max Hit the Road
The Secret of Monkey Island™: Special Edition
Indiana Jones® and the Fate of Atlantis™

good thing i didnt buy this title

this is the roster for this years game and its fucking terrible. biggest complaints ie heard is no story designer this year plus lack of legends. one reviewer said he had insane glitches and a lot of content was removed.

but still paying 60 bucks plus another 24 for the season pass is nuts expecially for stars wh have been on the roster for the last few years. i mean look i dont mind paying for some dlc here and there but this is just stupid on 2k's part


god if only i can land a job working with this title because at least id make it more interesting and what players want

i still want a game to come out every 2 years instead of yearly because im tired of an outdated roster im tried of seeing a slot used for another version of a superstar wich btw couldve just been a alt unlock after beating career mode or whatever. now the other thing is lack of nxt stars................ sure in this theres only 5 but again another missed oppertunity by 2k. oh and the lack of diva legends is awefull as well as much needed improvments with crash rates and bugs

Damn some classic stuff in there, it also makes me sad because that list alone shows they don't make them like they used to.

Last gen? More like before that even, that's some PS2 last few bad wrestling games, basically when they decided to Maddenise the series, way back then. That's when I stopped paying attention to wrestling games, the only interesting one made in all that time was All Stars.

You know what to do, it's time for that upgrade son, XB1 or PS4, because from now on the PS3, 360 will be getting the down grade versions of WWE games. Again bringing up the PS2 it was getting SvR upto 2011 I believe. The thing is parents and kids don't care if it's crap, it's the only wrestling game they can get, so it's a sale. A game every two years? PS3 n 360 will probably get 3 more wrestling games before they cut it off, and they will probably be worse as the PS4 and XB1 versions become more demanding.

Or you can do like me and just dust off your N64 and load up WCW/nWo: Revenge (Dat Starrcade Theme music !) or HCTP for PS2, it's what I play when I get the rare chance to hook up with some old buddies.

These newer games, and by that I mean this crap engine they started using back in around 2008, just seemed to suck the fun factor out the games, they look so dull and slow to me, I could just never get into them.

Sadly it's the only wrestling game that gets made now, so theirs literally no other option.

I have to skip this gen. I don't have the money on a Social Security budget, plus I don't know how many times over the past several years I thought I should give up gaming because games tend to piss me off more than they entertain me.
