Would his CHARACTER secretly being John Stewart be terrible? Yeah, pretty much. That would be one of the stupidest, most out-of-left-field plot developments they could do.
and merlyn being theas dad wasnt a stupid move for the purists?

dude many people believe he'd be phenomenal and unlike fillion ramsey would actually do a comic book role

fans always assume the studios overlook fillion but what if he isnt interested as being a lead in such a franchise?

i mean hey jake gyllenhaal pretty much stated he isnt interested in such roles actors do have a right to say if they like something or not

Look, whether or not Ramsey would be a good John Stewart is irrelevant. They'd come out and said they weren't going to do it, and they shouldn't. Diggle stands on his own as an original character of the show, a creation popular enough to carry over into additional media because of who he is, not who he secretly is or who he might one day become. His popularity and success is a right he's earned by just being Diggle on the show. He shouldn't have to become a Green Lantern to justify or validate his character.

As for Fillion, who gives a shit? Just because I'm saying your theory isn't popular doesn't mean I'm supporting Fillion.

And where the fuck did Gyllenhaal come from? We weren't even talking about him!

but it still would be an interesting plot device if it were true. i also remember another theory that ivo could of been her dad also but wasnt the wife like dying or something?

    EDIT:

Even if he did get married again the person he talked about marrying and leaving happened BEFORE he became Ra's which means roughly over one hundred years ago. If I am reading your theory correctly you seem to be saying that the woman he told the story about was Felicity's mother which is not possible because it would have been roughly a hundred years ago give or take.
