Im Just watching the original 3. As for the upcoming remake i hope its as close to the novella as possible since barker has the rights back. Apparently hes doing the remake and a tv series. My question is will and can the remake be as iconic? I remember as a kid going to the rental store and seeing that iconic vhs cover of Hellraiser with doug bradley and it always stuck with me. Same for the ice cream man dr giggles leprechaun wishmaster Killer klownz from outer space covers. Now a days posters or artwork dont have that draw power to make me stop and go oh shit let me read the synopsis on the back. Same with toy packaging. Now a days nothing makes me stop in the toy isle and go this looks cool. I know its cosmetic but figures from the 90s really popped out with there box art

Every now and again I come across a movie I never thought I watched only to realize "hey, I remember that!" This is one of those movies. It's a rare thing when you find a movie that actually has a decent story, decent acting, and very believable villains; in this case, some nasty rattlers. To my knowledge, no CGI was used and we had already passed the Jurassic Park movie by 8 years. Of course, there were scenes where they had to use non-venomous snakes, but for the most part, you get full on rattler here. And they are total freak gangsta rattlers, complete with a genetics engineering backstory. Quite enjoyed seeing this one again. Definitely not a Sci-Fi special. The scariest thing about this movie was how 2 bad seeded army brass were going to handle the situation.

I have this in one of those budget horror-8-pack DVD sets and didn't much like this the first time out. Watch a Movie Dumpster podcast made me re-watch 1-3, but I still felt this was too goofy. I don't like them talking. The puppets look good, though, and there are some good kills.

—Youtubed for its centennial. Made like a docudrama. Takes the angle of witches being persecuted, but also recreates the black Sabbath and devil stuff.
