Me too. And it hurts me because I think there should be more black characters on television, whether they're animated or not.

I question why having Aqualad there at all if this isn't Teen Titans. It seems as if they want the best of both worlds(the name of Young Justice but the characters from Teen Titans). Hopefully the tone of the series is comedy first and action second. I want to laugh, and I've already seen Robin, a Superboy, an Aqua-person, and archer....blah blah. I want this to be a legit Young Justice adaptation, not just "Teen Titans done seriously".

That would have been a better idea of Megan shapeshift into a black chick,...and an asian chick,...and a latina. You can have all the ethnicities in one character.


And whats up with Aqualad's hair?


Are they trying to break the black stereotype that black people don't swim by making Aqualad black ?

The only conclusion I'm coming up is they didn't put enough thought into this show. If they really needed diversity, they could have put Static Shock on the team instead of changing the race of a character. Still, I hope this show is not going to be a continuation of Teen Titans or a variation of Legion of Superheroes.

I'm not surprised that it's more of a modern Teen Titans than YJ and I'm a bit disappointed. A black Aqualad is lame too, I agree with whoever said Miss Martian should just shift into a black chick.

The only other things I'm kinda iffy about is Arrowette [or whatever name she'll have] being in green, and Kid Flash replacing Impulse. I think a better team would have been....

Robin is going to lead. And it BETTER have the personality clash between he and Superboy. That was one of the best parts of the series. I think it'll be Tim Drake, and not give too much info on his past, at least not for a while. Though is Superboy isn't egotistical as he was in the early issues then everything I just said is pointless, and the show will probably suck.

Looks cool. I don't really care they changed Aqualad's ethnicity. Doesn't bug me. It looks like they are going with Tim. I never read Young Justice, so I'd actually prefer a serious version to contrast Teen Titans. Not that Teen Titans was too bad, it's just that some of the limitations on the series became annoying.
