  • LOOKING FOR A RING MAKER NON GL

I need to have some plastic rings made that are not gl related if anyone can get back to me it would be appreciated....there are many different types that i want to have made......most of the rings I would like to have made are similiar in style to the green lantern signet rings but with different symbols so they shouldnt be to hard for a good sculpter.

I love the captain planet rings. But no,those are not the rings i want crafted. Since the makers of captain planet actually knew how to market their merchandise and how to make the merchandise realistic.

There's a site where you can have them CNC machined in either plastic or metal, CLICK HERE!

You'll need someone to come up with the ring design in CAD/CNC for you, and once you have that file, you provide it to them so they can make the rings for you.

Ah, actually none of the items on Shapeways are milled or machined. Everything there is "printed", which allows them to keep the costs so low. Basically there is no extra or lost material in the processing, which means they have very little to no loss like they would with machining.

Ten, what are you trying to get done? Also, anything metal they produce has a noticeable pitting effect, similar to what you can see on my Red Lantern rings, and the Sinestro ring that Lime has.

Huh, I did not know that. When I first heard about the place, I was led to believe that they were CNC machined, and that's why they needed the CAD renderings. *shrugs*
