Sinestro Corps Ring

So i'm looking to get a Sinestro Corps ring. So far the only one I have been able to find is silver with a yellow circle and the Sinestro Corps logo inside of it being Silver as well. It was neat, but the Yellow/Silver combo made the actual logo hard to make out. I was really hoping to find one that was Gold or at least Gold plated so the whole ring was Yellow like an actual Sinestro ring. And if I was really lucky have the inlay background be black (like you'd see on a Gold Class Ring) so it really stands out.

Do you guys have any idea of what I'm talking about or know where I could get something that's at least similar to what I described? Thanks!

First off, the one you're describing sounds like the Sinestro Corps Ring made by Arroba Silver. Have you tried contacting them, to ask them if they can make one for you that's either gold plated, or made out of actual gold?

They offer at least one ring that's gold plated, so they might be able to do that for you, at the very least.

Other than that, your only other option right now would be to commission a jeweler to make the ring out of gold for you. Depending on the jeweler, that could get quite costly. At one time about 6-7 years ago, I looked into buying a 10K gold signet ring, and having the Green Lantern Corps logo hand carved into the face of it, which would've made for a good replica of Sinestro's first yellow ring. At that time, the ring itself would've cost about $350, and the jeweler that could do the hand carving wanted to charge me at least $100 for that! And that was BEFORE the US dollar's value plunged into the toilet, so the cost of gold may be a lot higher now.

In the end, I waited, and ended up finding a 14K gold Sinestro ring on eBay for about $350, an item so precious to me that I will NEVER part with it! I might even be wearing it when I'm BURIED!!!

Unfortunately for everyone else that wants one, the jeweler that made them and offered them on eBay stopped selling his GL and Sinestro rings about 4 years ago, for reasons that were never revealed to me.

If by some stroke of extremely good luck, you happen to be a member of a certain message board for people that collect and/or make props, in the near future, a member there should be offering Sinestro Corps rings made out of anodized aluminum!

If you're not a member there, it will be MUCH harder to come by one, because that forum's registration is currently CLOSED, so it's not currently possible to become a member there. Further complicating matters is that fact that I will NOT reveal the name of said forum, because Warner Bros. and/or DC are once again on a kick of issuing Cease & Desist Orders to people that make unlicensed rings, and I'm not about to be the guy that lead the legal dickheads right to the maker of the anodized aluminum rings!

thanks for the idea. i sent them an email suggesting what an ideal Sinestro Corps ring design would look like along with what I thought was a decent photoshop of how it should look. I told them the Green Lantern fans would eat it up in no time. haha

I really think something like that is quite classy looking and still totally a Sinestro ring and dosn't stray too far off from what the comic rings look like. I know if they made those I would get at least two, if not more. Effing classy as hell and totally badass too.

I sure hope they deside to make that design though, if not I'll have to go get one made custom n that could run me quite a bit.

That Design is awesome.....I would be totally on board if someone were hired to make these. Custom jewelry designers are not too rare, the price depends on the design and the metal used for the job. And if the order is decently large, the price could go down for the individual rings. Some place like

where ya been for the last year?

i found this site when using the computer at work, i dont have the net at home. our old boss left and our new boss wouldn't let us use the computers while on the clock. that boss just left we just got a new boss again, this time someone who dosnt give a crap and now i can use the net again. that and i'm more a lurker than a poster
