How do you determine what to open and what to leave in package?

Basically, whatever I cannot wait to open gets opened. Usually based on how big it is and how cool it looks. Once I have some proper shelves, it's all coming out of the packages. For now, I need to be able to stack stuff to save space.

Ah damn it, I thought of that while I was reading........But I'm still concerned about the entertainment center right in the middle of the stairs, that's a safety hazard right there.

Most of the GL Corps is just on my uber messy desk. The rest are just stacked in the corner of my office until I get something suitable to display them in.
