After the BLACKEST NIGHT comes the BRIGHTEST DAY, and if you’re still reeling from the amazing look of the DC DIRECT figures surrounding last year’s DCU-spanning event, you may need to sit down for this one.

Starting in March, DC DIRECT will kick off another series of high-quality and story-specific product, this time based around the hit biweekly series, BRIGHTEST DAY. We’ve got a first look at the first two waves, which include Hawkgirl, Green Arrow, Deadman, Aquaman, Hawkman, Martian Manhunter, Firestorm and Mera.

The only ones worth getting would be J'onn and Mera. I don't see anything special about the others aside from Firestorm looking like a hybrid between Ronnie and Jason.

I'll probly get the whole set, I just limited myself to GL figs, then branched out a little when Blackest Night came out, and now would like to get the main dcu, so this is a great wave for me.

I hope that DC do not forget the line of figures on the Blackest night.

I think they're done unfortunately, they got all the new guardian corps leaders, a really good amount of Black Lanterns, and all the Deputies (sans Ganthet), I'd love to see some more as well, but the ones I'd like to see probly will never get made ( Black Lantern Elongated Man, Black Lantern Abin Sur, Black Lantern Green Arrow, Red Lantern Guy, Brother Warth, Soranik Natu, Munk, Miri) Although they may continue the GL series which gives me hope for the last 4

I am super hoping they do 2 more waves, because I can see them rounding out their 12

Wave 3: Dove, Flash, Captain Boomerang, Osiris
Wave 4: Hawk, Reverse-Flash, Jade, Maxwell Lord

Maybe they substitute Max or Osiris w/ Ray Palmer

Thank God I don't want any of them, my wallet can't take any more. They look cool, but not GL related enough. I think 8 series of BN figures and all the statues is enough already. One of these days the bank is going to want me to pay the mortgage!

P.S.: I don't think the term "mulatto" is politically correct any more. Gellato on the other hand is both acceptable and tasty!
