Figured it would be cool to have a general action figure/toy discussion/review thread. This might give a fellow collector the nudge to push to purchase or to leave on the shelf. Post some photos, some thoughts, enjoy!

DC Universe Classics Wave 9 Black Adam
This figure is pretty damn good, the best of the four Marvel Family figures offered (Captain Marvel, two Mary Marvel variants). I have the other three but this is the one that stands out the best. Good sculpt, pretty accurate to most artists depictions. The one flaw is lack of accessories, which not many can be included with his character, but he does have his necklace/pendant accessory.

DC Universe Classics Wave 2 Black Manta
I haven't seen the new Two Pack repaint rerelease of him, but I know he is blue, where this one is black. I believe this one to be superior due to the fact it's color is true to the character's name. Good head sculpt, nothing too fantastic about the body buck, and the accessories are quite nice.

DC Universe Classics Wave 12 Dr. Mid-Nite
I'm fond of the JSA, and this figure was a definite purchase for me. The owl fits right on his arm, the sculpt is wonderful, the colors are great. A lot of people complained about the paint apps being off on their figure, but mine is spot on. Too bad they didn't do the variant.

DC Universe Classics Wave 3 Deathstroke the Terminator
Old School will like this one! This is in my top 5 of this particular line. Awesome accessories, spot on accuracy and just an over all great figure. I don't have the variant mask off version, but it isn't needed when you have this figure.

DC Universe Classics Wave 9 Mantis (robot/Super Powers)
I was really surprised how much I would like this figure. So far I'm only completed a few waves of the DCUC line (6, 9, 11, 12) and I only got this one to complete the line and it was my third favorite figure from this wave. The scuplt is awesome, and is rare from Mattel because it doesn't have any other figures it can work well into. Great figure.

DC Universe Classics Wave 11 The Question (winner: Fan's Choice Poll)
Another sleeper favorite of mine was The Question. Awesomely simple, but great none-the-less. No accessories other than the CnC piece, but over all a great purchase- it sparked an interest (albeit only slightly) in the character for me.

DC Universe Classics Wave 11 Steppenwolf (Super Powers)
Again another figure I only bought to complete a wave was the Super Powers Steppenwolf figure. Amazingly detailed and comes with great accessories. I own both versions but this version is terrific. Just wish I owned some Parademons!

Marvel Legends (Hasbro) Ultimate WWII Captain America
Last and certainly not least for this post is Ultimate WWII Captain America, my favorite character and figure I own. From my understanding the Marvel Select version is better, but I'm having a difficult time tracking that one down. This figure stays amazingly true to Hitch's artwork and captures Ultimates: National Security art very well. This is the #1 spot figure for me.
More reviews to come, I encourage you to post your own!
