Is that possible now? Before Blackest I would see that, but now I find that hard.

It's more easy to believe than ever before -- one of their own ranks turned against and nearly killed them all... they're going to be on red alert and things like the Alpha-Lanterns will seem like appetizers to what they'll do after Blackest Night.

This time when Hal goes after the Guardians I don't think he will be doing it alone. I honestly think at least John, Kyle and Guy will be with him.

I still find that hard. I mean BN is already underway and right now, Hal going rogue it´s incridbly hard. If this is after Blackest Night tho, GLC: Civil war anyone?

And Natu, Wog, Arisia, etc etc..

If Hal really goes rouge, the other GLs might follow him. Yat said he was the last of the "appointed" Guardians. Maybe Hall kills/stops the Guardians and a GL Council replaces them?

That's what I have been predicting since Legion Of 3 Worlds started and we first saw Yat.

Hmm, that could be the reason why Mogo dies too. A GLC Civil War could happen.

Probably. Which is pretty much my worst fear about Blackest Night... it won't have an ending, it'll just cliffhang into another Big Story.

Well, there were mentions to use some other characters and plots by Geof in and none of a possible GLC Civil War.

Well from what I heard in the panels from SDCC at least next year won't be a major event story Geoff seemed to be suggesting that he as several small arcs planned, Henshaw and Hammond as bad guys among them.

Looks like the Guardians are going after magic again.

The only part that sucks in all this is that it feels like we JUST got the Guardians back. It seems like only yesterday I was reading the arc in Vol 3 when Kyle used his Ion power to reignite the CPB and bring back the Guardians as babies. Ganthet was so happy and the future looked so bright at that point. Guess not.

I suppose I could see the Guardians all but Ganthet and Sayd getting killed off to leave Yat and a few others as appointed Guardians of the Universe. Alan being around in the 31st Century wouldn't make much sense for him. If he was to be released from that wall I'd think he'd just go right back to the 21st Century, just like Conner and Bart did.

Well if the smurfs weren't such total douches it might be ok. But seeing as how they are complete and total idiots they deserve to be bitch slapped.

And that's probably exactly what will happen. But Alan will hang around the 31st century just long enough to give an "Adventure Comics" arc a hook for Green Lantern fans, methinks.

Not to mention that Vol. 3 OPENED with the original Return Of The Guardians.

Heaven forbid they just let them stick around for a while...
