The good news is it's only a one-shot. I knew there would be more Thorne GL, but I was expecting a series. Hopefully, it's the last we'll ever see of any Thorne Green Lantern projects.
Oh my lord why is DC letting this guy touch Green Lantern one last time?!?! It's all going to have to be wiped clean asap before the GL franchise can be repaired. I'm scratching my head right now as to how the editors that have allowed these franchises to languish in disrepair haven't long since been booted for the damage they've caused. Hiring writers like Thorne who cant write and do NOT understand the characters has been one nail after another in the coffin of the Green Lantern franchise.
Unbelievable. It's like the powers that be don't care that they are running DC into the ground. Or worse that it's intentional. Whatever.

I don't have any inside information, so take this for what it's worth, but I don't think this one-shot is the conclusion. Santucci has moved on, so my gut feeling is that this one-shot cleans up or resets certain points for Thorne to be part of a new creative team. Somewhere in Jan or Feb, Green Lantern #13, or possibly some tweaked title like the Emerald Knight and the Green Lantern Corps, will start another 12-month run for Thorne.
Did this actually come out? My LGS didn't pull it for me, and I haven't seen it on their shelves. I kind of forgot about it, so I haven't asked them about it directly yet.
