- Q:Anything with Cassandra Cain? Sattler: "You guys like her, right?" *cheers* "We have a lot of conversations about her. She's been kinda re-introduced and reinvented a few times, so the next time we do it we want to really nail it, get it 100% right before we do it"
- Q: How much longer will Grant Morrison be on Batman? Sattler: He's on it for awhile, he's planned.. the next year is crazy, and crazy awesome. The stuff he has planned for 2012 is probably one of the craziest and best Batman stories of all time.
- “I’m going to give away a little secret: he was going to go back to Nightwing pretty quick, but that reaction that we’ve seen kept him in the costume longer -- and will see him there in the future. He’s not coming out anytime soon just because Bruce Wayne is coming back,” DiDio said.
- Q: Will Renee stay Question for awhile? Sattler: Yeah, she'll be The Question for a long long long long time.
- As far as we're concerned, Tim Drake is Red Robin and Damian Wayne is Robin for the foreseeable future.
- "No plans for Multiverse use until Morrison gets into Multiversity, w/ exception of one thing James Robinson might be doing prior to that."
- Q: Gotham Central? Sattler: We're working on something that will fill that niche; we have some ideas.
- When asked if there were any plans in the works for a Damian mini-series, DiDio paused with a grin. “You know what would be cool? A Damian mini-series by Andy Kubert.”
- Q: Damian Wayne mini? Sattler: Yeah, theres a chance of that.
- Q: Original Seven JLA fighting together soon? Sattler "No Comment"
- “There’s some real character growth that he goes through on this journey,” said DiDio on Batman, Inc.
- The event took a more cryptic turn after digging into the issue of character aging in comic books; specifically, whether Damian Wayne will be turned into a teenager overnight. DiDio was adamant about putting the DCU “on hold” in terms of aging characters, explaining that through “Blackest Night” and “Brightest Day” they’ve aimed to re-establish the classic characters (Barry Allen, Ray Palmer, Arthur Currie, etc.) in hopes of giving further detail to those that have taken up their costumes since.
- Q: Any plans for the Batman Animated Series continuity? Satller: One of those 100 pagers I was just talking about might have something to do with that, and we have a Batman Beyond ongoing series launching soon.
-Will we see Batgirl interacting with the DCU as a whole? Supergirl is in the next issue of “Batgirl,” and they’re fighting Draculas. Note on the plural. Sattler and Gates both had high praise for Brian Miller’s work on that title. Sattler said, “Brian Miller’s Batgirl can do no wrong by me.”
- What can we expect of the Red Hood following Winick’s “The Red Hood: Lost Days” miniseries? Sattler tackled this one, “That is a major villain in the DCU. That is Dick Grayson’s nemesis.”
- What about Cassandra Cain? “You will see Cassandra Cain in the DCU, for sure, permanently in 2011. That cat was already half out of the bag,” Sattler revealed.

Batman #705 Cover (w/colors) by Tony Daniel
He does look like Bruce on the last two covers. Maybe it's from drawing Bruce for the last two months straight. lol interiors will probably be leaner. For sure leaner than Bruce anyhow. It will also look better as I go. But so far I've gotten extremely positive feedback from peers and longtime pros. So I'm thankful for that kind of support.
I'm very confident this will progress to something special.
Tony

Yeah, what happened to those Dini books? Good writer, good artist, popular characters...why the low sales?

Originally posted by Gray Lantern View PostMy guess for SoG was that the concept wasn't all that great. The constantly changing points of view made it difficult to keep reader's interests. For GCS, I'm guessing that there just wasn't a big enough audience for the book. A lot of people love Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, but I don't think enough of those people are up on comic books to buy the books. These are my guesses and I may be way off base because I didn't pick these books up.

Paul Dini is overrated, he's good but not as good as people make him out to be
