  • I hate the name Richard Rider for all the reasons anyone would. But there WAS concept art for a more standard comic style Nova to appear in the first GotG film and it just didn't happen. When I saw the guy who played the alien rebel in Roswell next to John C. Reilly's Rhomann Dey I was stoked and thought maybe Rider would be retrofitted into the Nova Corps so that Sam could replace him later.

I like Nova enough to where I'd rush to see Richard or Sam either one in a solo Nova film. Especially if Reilly is still Dey for a few scenes.

              • Krysten Ritter Cast as Marvel’s Jessica Jones!

Two weeks ago we learned about the actresses testing for the role of Jessica Jones in Marvel’s upcoming Netflix series and today Deadline brings word that “Breaking Bad” and “Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23″ actress Krysten Ritter has been cast in the role! The outlet also reveals that Halo: Nightfall‘s Mike Colter is the top choice for the role of her husband, Luke Cage, who will appear in seven of the planned thirteen “Jessica Jones” episodes.

“Dexter” and Twilight scribe Melissa Rosenberg is set to executive produce the “Jessica Jones” series, which focuses on retired superhero Jessica Jones hanging up her tights and opening her own detective agency. Rosenberg is no stranger to female superhero shows either, having worked on the short-lived “Birds of Prey” series on The WB.

“Jessica Jones” is the second of five Netflix shows Marvel will roll out starting next year with “Marvel’s Daredevil.” Following the two will be both “Luke Cage” and “Iron Fist,” with all four leading into a “Defenders” mini-series.

I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.
