Poor issue. That's what it was. I hate to be all negative but there was very little to like here. This storyline has been filled with good points but a lot of really bad or in this issues case, really poor execution of the potentially good.
This Nemesis has bonded with "our" Wonder Woman, except our Diana isn't whole thanks to this storyline. So Nemesis comes up with a ridiculous plan to merge with Diana and eventually bring "man's world" to its knees. It doesn't make sense as to why between editorial and the two writers on this book, they would have the villain go above and beyond out of their way to get to this point. If you were able to merge with one Wonder Woman, wouldn't you use your (simplistic and unfortunately very typical) boneheaded plan for the other Wonder Woman? Ever hear of "Don't fix what isn't broken"? Why would you fake a raid against Themyscira to draw out "our" WW and have it work, and then go through so many hoops to....draw out the other WW...the WEAKER Wonder Woman?! And don't give me that "she wouldn't have been ready" bullshit, because SHE STILL ISN'T. This issue was a lot of backpedaling. It was Hester telling the reader "This Wonder Woman isn't half as good as the one you usually get". Which led to the horrible ending where Wonder Woman DOES WHAT THE VILLAIN WANTS and somehow it works against her? Poor Poor ending. The dialogue in this issue was good though, I enjoyed Diana's thoughts as I usually do. Unfortunately, her thoughts can't outweigh the obviously rushed and poor art of Don Kramer, nor can it outweigh the horrible transitions from alternate/present-world or the actually spoken words from Diana and Nemesis.
So now we have one issue left, and thank goodness. I can't wait for Azzarello's run to start.

Grant Morrison Plans To Bring The Sex Back To Wonder Woman
So, Grant Morrison, when can we expect to see your long, long-awaited Wonder Woman series alongside artist Ethan Van Sciver? “It might be out next year,” he said over the weekend, speaking at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, “or it might not.”
If you’re getting tired of waiting, you might want to blame Princess Diana’s creator William Moulton Marston for the delay. The late psychologist and free love exponent, who based Wonder Woman on he and his wife Elizabeth’s 18-year-old lover Olive Byrne and imagined a Themsycria where bondage-obsessed Amazons kept female slaves and pretended to hunt and eat one another, is Morrison’s prime inspiration for the series, which could explain any hesitation on DC’s part.
“You can take the violence out of the original concept of Superman- all the drop-kicking bad guys into the ocean, which would basically kill them anyway,” said Morrison, “or you can take the gun out of early Batman, and these characters remain essentially the same. But you can’t take the sex out of Wonder Woman. That version of the character died with Marston in the 1940s and she hasn’t recovered her popularity since.
“Superman’s meant to be this ultimate expression of masculinity and he still gets to be sexual. Wonder Woman’s meant to be the ultimate expression of womanhood and yet she isn’t allowed anything to do with sex.”
It sounds as if what Morrison’s doing with the character fits more closely with his old pre-Vertigo reinventions of Doom Patrol and Animal Man than his current work on Batman and Superman. “It’s hard work trying to recreate what Marsden did without being exploitative or prurient,” he said. “I’ve had to do a ton of reading ahead of this, basically the history of feminist theory from Simone de Beauvoir to Andrea Dworkin.”
