Well I think Cage made a decent Ghostrider. That's just me though.

The rest of the cast could have been improved.

I don't dislike Nic Cage, but his performance in this movie was horrible. Any time he tried to say something that was supposed to be serious or have emotion, it came off as awkward. For the lack of a better word, I'd call his dialogue and that of the entire film corny. Eva Mendes isn't an actress. She's just a beautiful woman that the studio put into the movie in order to attract men to come to the movie. She's no different than Megan Fox is in the Transformer films. She doesn't know how to act. In other films were the main character is "on a quest for vengeance" because of the death of a parent or loved one, there's usually sympathy for the character. Nic Cage didn't put any emotion into it. I didn't feel any sympathy towards the character, nor did I care if he achieved his goal of getting back at the person who took his father. So it sucks because it's two main actors can't act and they stumble through a half-ass plot while spewing awkward and uninteresting dialogue that conveys no emotion.

My word on the subject is this. It was a decent movie. However, Let's hope the sequel will be much better.

I don't think it was a bad MOVIE. I think it had a bad ENDING. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie until the end, when the devil came to take his powers back, Ghost Rider just said "no." .... And the devil. the freaking DEVIL. replies with "Darn. I'll get you next time, my pretty!" and goes away.

im not saying ghost rider is great i think it was better than some other marvel films that came out like xmen orgins wolverine and dare devil for example. i dont hate cage i just think hes a bad actor period and thats one thing that really threw me from my liking of this film. the villain imo couldve been better and really they should reboot it and start fresh.

There's not. Purely because the term 'good" is completely subject. What's good to you, or the majority, doesn't negate the taste of the minority.

Good is a matter of personal preference. Doesn't matter how reasoned the argument is, an opinion is an opinion because it cannot be fact. It's subjective from the viewers point of view.
