Does anyone know if any DC staff actually lurk these boards? There's some pretty sound opinions offered here and it'd be nice to know that were being heard.
I think Geoff Johnns actually has an account, but he logged on once about 3 years ago, said hi and "it's wonderful to have a GL forum" and then buggered off forever. I think one or two old artists also have an account. But who knows, there might be a few lurkers who work at DC.

They lurk here. Some used to post but there are too many people unhappy with the titles for them to take part here. I certainly don't blame them for that. I couldn't tell you who, if anybody, is lurking lately.

If they know so many people are unhappy with the titles, surely they'd realise something needs to be done. Maybe they just don't care anyway.
We're a microcosm, the books still sell, sales force creative changes not people bitching on the internet, especially when the people bitching still buy the books.
What Hypo said. If you put 100 angry fans on a website, but the books still has 50,000 fans buying it every month, what do you care? If I was DC I sure wouldn't care what we have to say.
I know a few who use to,but I am sure they would prefre to go unnamed. I am pretty sure we pissed of a few people. Wich Is understandable, some of us are pretty passionate about Green Lantern. I could be a little more gentle with my bad mouthing of Venditti's take on GL. If any of it comes off as personal that's my bad and a thousand pardons sir. I could just as easily say the GL and Venditti are just not right for eachother. However here in message board land no point seems to go noticed unless it is exagrated.
As far as DC people lurking. I think that sometimes thier hands are tied. I think sometimes they have a corprate line that has to be towed. I think DC plans out a general direction for all the characters, and hit or miss they ride it out until the bitter end.

Sadly, this is all the truth.
On the bright side for me though I still haven't read a lot of old GL comics that I'll probably enjoy plus Red Lanterns has been alright. I mainly feel sad for some of the older fans who have already read the older comics many times and aren't enjoying any of the new comics. It's sort of how I feel about Doctor Who at the moment, I grew up with the show and feel very passionate about it and I can't stand to see Moffat bastardising the show but I have to.

If they do lurk here perhaps we need to leave an open message for them.....get the point across. Although all they hav to do is read almost any thread and see all the complaints.

Maybe every single member should put a message in their signature, possibly the same or a very similar message. Then if there are lurkers from DC, they're bound to get the message to some point.

And then they can proceed to continue not caring what 20 some odd people on a message board have to say...?
I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.
Yes and only about 80 dollars worth of revenue lost per month if we all collectively dropped the book. As someone already said on here, at the end of the day it's the money that talks. Don't get me wrong I wish it was the case that they were more focused on telling good and proper stories that people want to read as opposed to things that will bring in the green but sadly I don't think that will ever happen.
