I've always found it odd that Power Ring never showed up in Green Lantern vol 2 during the 60s or 70s. It seems like a natural idea; even moreso than in JLA or The Flash. GL utilized the antimatter universe and Qward, why not use Power Ring for a doppleganger villain? Like Space Cop mentioned, nothing kept them from using Alan Scott in GL.

Yo.
nah. they were too busy trying to show us the trials & tribulations of both Kyle AND Hal (pre-ET natch) to bother, on top of which he was "erased" anyways..........

Indeed. They could've done a lot more with Power Ring, especially during the 1990s.

It's sad that Johns has done more damage to GL than any other creator, so soon after making the brand a top seller.

from wat I remember, we NEVER saw Volthoom; all we ever got from P.R. about his ring was that it was given to him by an old monk/mystic to do good, but becuz on Earth 3 most spb's tended toward evil deeds he was constantly tortured by the device *constantly* saying his benefactors name in his ear/mind.
thats about as far as I can remember it ever going; the only member of the CSA who made an appearance outside of their JLA -showing pre-CoIE was Ultraman in an ish of DCCP.

I dont think P.R. had ever appeared in anything else but JLA in vol 1 of the series (nothing GL-specific comes to mind, but I think his 1st appearance was JLA #29 back in '64), and then he bit the big one in CoIE #1 back in '85.
Morrison then re-introduces him in JLA: Earth 2 in 2000, but after that we dont see him again until the "Syndicate Rules" -storyline from JLA vol.3 ish's 107 to 114 (which I think came out in tpb).

Nah let's give Larfleeze the big jugs. I could just picture him now not paying attention or doing much of anything cause he is sitting in a corner squeezing his boobs together and chanting mine.
