So BleedingCool reported the following, and although it isn't clear which GL book Ethan will be working on, it's a fact that the man responsible for Green Lantern Rebirth will once again get inducted into Geoff Johns' Corp!

Personally, I hope it's Green Lantern...I just can't stand Mahnke anymore!!

Eh, he said "finish", so it might be coming out relatively soon. I don't see him leaving Firestorm for a project that won't be out for years (unless he knows the book is going to be cancelled soon).

I love EVS and want him to always have a home with GL. I think the best way to utilize his talents is to have him pencil GL annuals, oneshots and miniseries. Maybe specific arcs with enough lead time.

2. I really hope they DON'T bring him to the main book, mainly because I'd rather it not be yearly.

To each their own, but I agree. Mahnke does weird aliens and inanimate objects well (actually, very well), but I swear sometimes all his people look alike whether they be man or woman (check out his JLA run, those were some of the manliest women I've ever seen). When they went to Korugar in the new GL I did a double take at one point thinking the colorist colored Hal red by mistake. Turned out it was supposed to be a Korugarian. And look at Carol in GL 1. In some of the panels all she has eyes, a line for a nose and a mouth; no brow, chin, cheeks or other facial definition (unlike the men, which do have definition but always look mean and identical).

I mean, did you actually like this?
