So it looks like the Guardians ARE trying to get the ring off. There better end up being a doozy of a reason why they fail. Unless they are just putting on a show, and just want a way to let him keep it without seeming responsible for it.

Something tells me this will end up being the work of lazy writing (hope I'm wrong). I don't think Bednard gonna be able to come up with a convincing reason as to why Sinestro still has the ring, especially after that little spoiler.
Well I am intrigued and can't wait for this issue =) I hope we see something with Guy and Hal because JLI is going to make no sense to me if he doesn't.
