Green Lantern is currently shooting down in New Orleans, and every fanboy this side of Sector 2814 is anxious to see some official images from the film. A shot of the costume, a one-sheet, anything... And a poster has shown up online today, in fact. But is it the real deal?

Well, according to IGN's sources at Warner Bros., nope -- it's a fake. Here's a glimpse of the poster in question, as per Bleeding Cool:



Wow, that's just awful, isn't it? A good thing then that Warner Bros. is saying that not only is this not the poster for the film, but there isn't even a poster made yet. And there's nothing on the studio lot for it, either.

The long and short of it -- we'll all have to wait a little longer for our first look at GL.

Calling it a "fake" isn't accurate, it's real, it's at a Warner Brothers lot, it's not "fake", it's just not related to the movie.

1. The animated series is most likely going to be CG.
2. That IGN article sounds like there is no poster there at all. For ANYTHING GL related.
