  • Green Lantern Dress Uniform?

It had been awhile since I'd watched the Justice League episode "Hereafter," Part One. Just noticed (and how did I ever miss this??) that the GL Corps members attending Superman's funeral were wearing a uniform I've never seen anywhere else. John Stewart, Kilowog, Tomar-Re (or is it Tomar-Tu, I'm not sure which Tomar it is), and Katma Tui are all wearing an emerald overcoat with rank shoulder boards. Looks pretty cool to me. Has this variant ever shown up as (1) a toy or (2) in the mainstream comics (as canon)?

    You're talking about this right?

Well I've never seen it outside of this episode before but I guess it does look kinda cool. Also, Is that supposed to be Hal Jordan or Kyle Rayner on Kilowog's left?

Someone here with art skills should develop a cool dress uniform for the GLC. They look kind of like thugs in that.

Oh, and notice Hal (and Larvox, apparently) are totally flouting the dress code.

They're not dress uniforms. It was just cold outside.

Yup, that's the view; Google Images has another one with John Stewart as one of the pallbearers. Definitely shoulder boards. And if that's supposed to be Kyle, he bleached his hair...

DCAU Kyle was very much a Hal appearance with Kyle's personality. They wanted the best of both worlds, but Hal fans still bitched. So DC eventually gave up and went with John Stewart as the primary DCAU GL (which fortunately turned out great!).

I don't mean to switch gears, but was this Mera's only appearance in JLU?

Nope. She was in The Terror Beyond Part 1 & 2 and The Enemy Below Part 1 & 2
I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

Thanks. For the life of me, I don't remember either of those episodes. I'll have to check my DVD library.
