  • How does this explain Ben 10? That crap never moves AND the series has low ratings.

Thundercats toys sold relatively well and that was cancelled after 1 season. You never saw Cheetara or the Kittens on the shelves, just that bandaged Mumm-ra.

This reeks. Because the movie masters figures tanked, something that's worth a damn will never see the light of day.

I didn't read the comments made by people there.

I wanted to get all of those (with the possible exception of Hammond) too but after finding about 4 of them all I ever saw again was Tomar. Maybe that was part of the problem---the stores ordered 10,000 Tomar-Res and not a single Green Man.

        • Tomar is STILL in stores!

The only one I really wanted was Rot Lop Fan, but while I saw him plenty of times, I never saw him at the same time that stores were slashing the prices on them, and I wasn't going to pay full price for him. I didn't want him THAT much.

              • Interesting. I thought the finale was going to be this Saturday, and be an extra long episode. Apparently the sites that told me that were wrong.

I'm intrigued that this week's episode is entitled "Ranx". Curious what they will do with the sentient city in the show. Presumably he would be siding with the Aya-Monitor, as an artificial life form. But maybe not, if he, like the Ranx of the comics, is big on inspiring fear.

I think Green Man was an SDCC exclusive. Try Ross or TJ Maxx. They've been known to get in MM figures. Last I checked, they had Krona and Hammond for $5.

                  • I didn't know TJ Maxx sold toys that weren't low name brand labels.

                    • Verry few things poped up at the ross and TJmax here in Tampa. Boardgames mostly. and the figures with the changable constructs. I think Mattel is a big reason of why that line failed. fisrt off they were not on the shelves by the realese date. And a large amount of toys never made it into circulation. things I would have bought had I saw them.

                      Basic figures
                      Salakk
                      Krona

                      Movie Masters
                      Sinestro

                      Vehicle Transforming
                      Hal's Charger
                      Cyber Cycle

Characters I woild have bought had they made them
                      Carol
                      Starsapphire
                      Man Hunter robot
and comic color repaints of every one.

The line had 2 villians that you could never find. Who are kids supposed to have Green Lantern fight?

Reminds me of when Star Trek: First Contact came out. The movie was all about the Enterprise crew fighting the Borg, yet I don't think I EVER saw a single Borg figure from the movie line in the stores.

                        • Really? That's ALL they had around here. Captain Picard and the bridge crew were harder to find.

                          • The toys were a little pricey for what they were too. I had a Hard time shelling over 10 bucks for a figure that was not on the same level as a hasbro figure of the same ammount. Or I could just add another 5 bucks and buy a DCD figure from my comic shop wich was larger and better looking.

Guess YOU guys got all the Borg, then. Captain Picard was ubiquitous where I was. The Borg were all I really wanted, since I had bridge crew from other lines, and yet I never found a single one, not from the movie line. I did get a few from other lines.
