Not I, I don't hate Kyle, but Hal 1st, Guy 2nd, Alan 3rd, John 4th, then Kyle...Thats only for the Earth GLs, if I added more he would move down the list.

Every week for a year in book that was a DC Top Five seller every month, set as the main storyline for the company is "far, far from the limelight?"

Throw in appearances in the Sin Corps War, the GLC and the Search for Ray Palmer mini-series, I'd say Kyle showed up more than any of the earth based Lanterns over the last 12-months.

Yeah I think Kyle has showed up the most also. I have always liked all GLs so I pretty much read anything GL related and I think Hal fans were just mad because he got killed off, and now he's back so everyone has what they want. I think thats one reason why Barry Allen is alive again, to make everyone happy.

I like Kyle he's just not my favorite, I like g'nort, and will read a book with him in it, Just like a book that has a shitty writer, if its a charcter I love I'll still read it. Does that make sense?

I'd argue it's less about making people happy and more about making more money. The Flash isn't doing what it was doing in GJ's run enough to attract the masses and this will probably be DC's short term remedy for that.

I'm actually glad a lot of Hal fans have come to accept Kyle as a valuable character in the Corps. I remember when the poster Lord Mal first came out about liking Kyle after so many years and I was stunned. It's a good thing though, because lately I'm liking Hal more and more also.

To answer your question gently, no, it's not funny and the only place Kyle belongs is six feet underground. His ten year run was like a ten year bad dream of fan-wank and is best forgotten about in short order.

It would totally depend on the story is my guess.

In either case, the original ET or if they make a new one of sorts sometime in the future, it was never Kyle's "fault". Kyle didn't write the story.

He is merely a fictional character after all. I never will understand folks taking out their anger at something that doesn't really exist. Same with the ones who hate Hal.

Characters either entertain us or they don't, but wasting energy on hate, that should be left to the Red Lanterns...
