Omar Epps is the guy from House right? He would be a good choice, he's a good actor. As long as he isn't exactly like Foreman. God, Foreman annoys me.
However, I do think Common is a good choice, and its not only because I like his music. Judging by his performance in Smokin' Aces, he isn't a bad actor, so I'm all for it. Maybe he'll even do a song for the soundtrack.

Well, I am not familliar with Common at all, I couldn't even tell you what he looks like.
Personally I was rooting for Samuel L. myself.
But the way I figure it is, as long as he looks enough like John, and can actually act I should have no problems.
I've heard a lot of negativity about this whole movie deal, and even though I was hesitant at first about John being in it (Hal fan don'tchaknow), I realise what they are trying to accomplish, and I'm all for it now.
I will be going to see this movie regardless of who is playing what, and I will reserve my judgements about it until after I have seen it.
