I had a feeling that Villain from #0 would show up. He must play a part in Guy supposed downfall.

And what do you want to bet it will mirror pretty exactly his "downfall" as a cop hinted at in that same #0 (which we will get more detail on)?

I think I would be better off just paying you and skipping the bet altogether since its pretty much a guarantee.

Looks good! I can't wait for this issue! Basically sense I switched buying this instead of Green Lantern.

That's obviously a ruse from the Guardians. They're very determined to destroy Guy for some reason.

Hi Mr West! Ur going to Comics Con this weekend huh?! Can U please I'm begging U to tell Geoff Johns to do a story arc for John in the near future?! Second qns: Anymore chance we might see the Endless back to Dc universe say next year?! Imagine Endless crossing over with a power ring?! That way we can bring Mopheus back to LIFE??? Really wish they can do a Major storyline after the trinity wars!
                  Big Thanks my Man!

Why do the guardians need a third army, lantern corp or the manhunters? They have enough power to police the universe on their own. They could also get rid of Hal, John, and Sinestro by shutting down the CPB. Also, why wouldn't Guy ask Kyle or the JLA to look in on his family rather than flying back to Earth? I hate Maltusians, except for the ones locked away with the first lantern, oh, and Sayd.

This was good, though not really good mind you. I caught myself skimming some dialogue though for a page. And uh...just what does the GLC do? They put John on trial, and were going to put Sinestro down, but they keep this guy alive? No seriously why didn't they execute him? He killed people for publicity, and killed several GL recruits, and...he's in a jail cell? Does the GLC actually put villains and mass murderers on trial or do they only put their own on trial?

I liked this issue, though Guy was played.

Not really. While they're powerful, they're not omnipresent or omniscient. They could patrol but there's only 12 or however many there are now. Plus, they seem to prefer sitting back and monitoring. Getting their hands dirty isn't their MO.

Also, it seems that the 3rd Army isn't just another Corps. They want to replace all free will and emotion in the universe, so the goal is total assimilation of life.

It was revealed that the Blackest Night convinced the Guardians that ALL emotions had to go; that powers from emotions went to far. So, rather than outright kill Sinestro, they gave him a GL ring knowing this would set him at odds against his own Corps resulting in it's destruction. Later on they dealt with Sinestro.

I have to give Jhons credit for this one, it was a well thought out, insidious plan. I never suspected the Guardians may actually have set Sinestro up; I just figured it was a cheap comic book gimmick and nothing more.

Four stars on this one. It was a good read, and it sets up Guy's fall rather nicely. I'm not sure Mogo's reformation is real .... I'd rather he stay dead and it be 100% manipulation on the Guardian's part.
